I feel so fortunate to love what I do for a living. Often, patients come into the office in pain and are usually very nervous about the prospect of having a root canal. I considers it a privilege to have the ability to gently relieve pain, provide comfort, and allay my patients' fears. Providing great care with compassion and integrity is of paramount importance to Dr. Monfared and her dedicated team.

Michael Colasanto and Maryam Monfared provide a range of dental services to our patients to retain their teeth without having to go back and forth between specialists.
Your initial exam will last approximately 30 minutes to one hour. We will review your medical and dental history and perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums. In most cases, during this initial consultation we will be able to provide a diagnosis of your periodontal or endodontic condition and propose a treatment plan to improve your dental health.

I have been a patient with both doctors for over 20 years. I can't praise Drs. Colasanto and Monfared enough. Outstanding professional, personal, compassionate care. The experience is what healthcare should be from the initial encounter with receptionist to the assistants and the doctors. At a time when U.S. healthcare is in such crisis --- they set the standard for care. I am eternally grateful to be a patient.

I was sent to Dr Monfared from my family dentist when I had a hot stubborn tooth abscess and needed a root canal. My regular dentist’s novicane didn’t work. After extra nerve blocks I still felt everything and was in pain so he stopped trying. I went straight to visit Dr M‘S office for a consult and she talked me through the process. She was bubbly and so nice and understanding even as I stood there crying in pain, frustration, shock. The receptionist was also super helpful in going over papers and financial options. I was scheduled in 4 days later because I was having a knee surgery. She

I was referred to Dr. Colasanto by my general dentist for an implant last year. Before the procedure, Dr. Colasanto explained in detail the out of pocket cost, the procedure itself, and recovery time. I am glad to have chosen Dr. Colasanto to perform my implant. The whole procedure went as smooth as it could be and now I'm whole again.

If I could give more stars I would. I too was referred to this practice by my regular dentist. Our family have been patients for the past ten years. Both Dr. Colosanto and Dr. Monfarad are highly skilled and incredibly thorough. They explain every option and educate you regarding each.They are also genuinely nice people. My husband had a very complicated implant done by Dr. Colosanto, who then provided follow up care for at least two years to ensure that everything remained stable. My husband has had no problems. I have seen Dr. Monfarad for root canals and have almost fallen asleep in the chair

I worked for Dr. Colasanto and Monfared office ten years ago. The way they care about their patients and their honesty is impressive. If you go to them for a treatment that they judge unnecessary, they will not treat you just for money. Though I stopped working for them to join the military, my husband and I still go back to them anytime, we have dental issues or need a second opinion. For, example, years ago a dental hygienist told me I had about eleven cavities in my mouth and needed treatment. When I went to Dr. Colasanto for the second opinion, he said to me that I did not have any. Until now

Dr. Monfared's patience, courtesy, and willingness to help the patient through every step make what (usually) is a negative experience so much easier to handle.
This was the most comfortable I have ever felt in a dentist's office.
Finally, I encourage anyone considering her office reading this review to at the very least give them a call and allow them to address any objections you might have about insurance. Their office is fair and honest when it comes to financial questions, all the way from the front office staff to Dr. Monfared herself.

I first saw Dr. Colasanto for an emergency extraction a couple years ago and despite my extreme nervousness (my molar had split in half) Dr. Colasanto eased my fears and did the extraction quickly and painlessly. It turned out that only half the tooth needed to come out and thanks to Dr. Colasanto's conservative approach I am now doing very well with a partial molar (other dentists may have taken out the whole thing). I was very happy with my treatment so in the last year or so, as my elderly mother has needed extensive periodontal/dental work (now implants) Dr. Colasanto was the first dental

This is definitely the best dentist I have ever met! Not only does she do great work, it is obvious she cares about her patients. Her staff is awesome and was able to help me navigate through all the confusion of my insurance company.
I had to get a root canal a few weeks ago and her office made it a breeze. It was easy to make an appointment and go in right away, office was friendly and made the experience as pleasant as possible, which is not an easy thing to do. I was in and out of the office in no time at all.

I highly recommend both Dr. Monfared and Dr. Colasanto and have seen them both repeatedly. Both are caring and attentive. As a person who is terrified of dentists, the best thing I can say is that they have both worked on me ( a root canal, Dr. Monfared, and extractions, Dr. Colasanto) without my using nitrous or having anything more than a shot! Unbelievable for me! I trust them both totally and cannot say enough good about them. Their receptionist is very pleasant to deal with as are the rest of the staff.

I was referred to Dr. Michael Colasanto by my general dentist for periodontal disease. I am one of those people who absolutely hates going to the dentist, especially if there are needles involved, but after my recent experience with Dr. Colasanto and his staff, I can say for the first time that I am not fearful of going to the dentist. Dr. Colasanto and his staff immediately recognized that I was very nervous and his friendly front office person, Christine, was very helpful and reassuring as I filled out the paperwork.
