I was born and raised on the westside of Cleveland and currently reside in Lorain, OH with my husband. After being a stay-at-home mom to my three kids, I was looking for a part-time career that would get me out of the house a few days a week. Through a friend, I found TAN with KARE and immediately fell in love and started my training.
What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-blown passion. The health benefits of choosing custom spray tanning over traditional tanning beds are undeniable, however, my favorite aspect is seeing each and every client's confidence go through the roof after his/her experience with us. I absolutely love meeting new clients and being able to build relationships with them as they build their healthy tanning habits.

Ideally enjoy a pedicure PRIOR to your spray tan.just be sure they do not use lotion on your legs (feet are okay). You can get a pedicure after your spray tan has set in (so wait a day) just be sure they do NOT use exfoliating scrub or hot towels on your legs. You can work out a day after getting your spray tan and ideally after you've rinsed the spray tan guide off your skin.
TWK Self-Tanner & Anti-Aging Retail Spray - post spray tan - provides best results for extending the life of your colour. Spray perfume and cologne on clothing or the back of your hairline - NOT directly on skin (because it's got alcohol in it and will dry out the area sprayed - i.e. it will look dirty/blotchy).

Tan With Kare couldnt of been a better experience for me. I’m very insecure about my body and the employees make you feel so warm and welcomed! Karen makes sure that you tan sets in well gives detailed instructions on how to keep that gorgeous bronze! She also gives you coupons for the next tan! They have given me the best spray tan I’ve ever had I drive 40 minutes for this and I’m NEVER disappointed ♥️

I have had numerous spray tans here done by Rachel Smith and they always look amazing. She is friendly and informative whether you are a new or experienced spray tan customer. The color they use at Tan with Kare does not turn out orange (even with the darker tans), has a great glow, and lasts without getting noticeably patchy when it wears off. I always get compliments!

This was my first spray tan (and they were aware) for my brothers wedding at ~7pm. I was told not to sweat or get wet for 12-24 hours and that the post-care instructions had more info. The post-care instructions NOR the woman who did my spray tan told me to not let my skin touch because of the contact transfer. I woke up with these results and a huge transfer patch on my chest. I read online that it’s standard to wear mittens and/or clothes to bed in an effort to prevent contact transfer. Needless to say this did not help me after the fact. My mom, sister, and I were first time spray tanners before my sister's wedding. We found Tan with Kare online and decided to book with them after reading some great reviews. They certainly did not disappoint!
Karen herself was so helpful when I first reached out and inquired about how early we should be scheduling our tans. Then, the second we stepped in the building, the staff greeted us with big smiles and bubbly personalities, putting us all at ease!

First time ever getting a Spray Tan so I was of course nervous but all the girls were so nice and welcoming. I was most nervous about being half naked in front of someone (im not young or fit) but Rachel was great at keeping the conversation going so I didn't even have time to think about it anymore! Only 5 hours after the tan and so far I'm extremely pleased with the results. Can't wait until morning when I can rinse and see the full effect :)

I have been spray tanning for about 10 years. I travel a lot and have visited many tanning companies. What a cute shop! Wonderful tanning set up. I felt very comfortable while there. My tan color was set based on my current skin tone. I have never had that happen before! It made it look so natural. I was shocked! It didn't even have that chemical smell that some do. My tan last over a week and probably would have lasted much longer if I wasn't in the water so much on vacation. The other part I loved about this tan, is how it faded. Tan with Kare is by far the best spray/airbrush tan I've ever had done. I am very fair skinned and my skin texture hates self tanner. The color never works on me (usually too yellow) and it ends up blotchy because of my skin, even when professionally done. Tan with Kare customizes the color; I don't look natural with a deep or even normal tan, so I always ask to just take the edge off my whiteness. I was so nervous to get my first spray tan! And had contemplated where I'd go for weeks and weeks. I scheduled an appointment with Tan with Kare after reading great reviews & word of mouth. It is quite a drive from my house but I couldn't risk a bad spray tan (as I was getting right before my birthday weekend). Was a great experience! Very comfortable environment, I was the only one in the salon at the time of my appt. The woman working was SO nice, so helpful with my countless questions as I said, I was nervous!
