Loved loved loved this campground. Planning to spend many more weekends there. Karen and Bridget are both so kind and helpful, everyone made us feel like family. Beautiful lots, great clean clubhouse and showers. We love to hike and there was some great hiking done and checking out the old locks.cant wait to come back.

DONT STAY HERE FOR WORK!
DONT STAY HERE FOR WORK!!
DONT STAY HERE FOR WORK!!!
TYPICAL BUSINESS OWNER THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF TRAVELING UNION HANDS!!!!
If you read nothing else, know this business will take advantage of you!!!
Not a good place for traveling workers at all. There is absolutely nothing out there. The roads in the camp are not sufficiently maintained in the winter, 0 salting, 0 sanding- if you dont have 4x4 and it storms, you could miss work and have no way to call in. I had to use my 4x4 several times in my 1 week stay just to get my truck out of my spot in the morning.

This place is a nice place only if your a weekender. If your a long term stay, stay away!!!! Website is misguiding, and prices are constantly changing. In the winter she charges $600 plus electric and summer months $650. Karen, the owner has no idea how to treat people and cater to their needs. Electric is 20 cents a kw and needs to be paid every 2 weeks. Ridiculous. Then she came up on short notice she will be charging long term people $700 a month for rent. When she did that, just about everyone left. She constantly taunts you about shutting the place down if we don't get more workers in

Lock 30 Woodlands is a picturesque & relaxing campground. The campground itself is surrounded by beautiful, green, rolling hills and perfect for family exploring. The grounds, the pool and the game room / activity area are all very well taken care of and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great weekend. We will definitely return!

This place might be nice if you were only going to spend a few days, but stay away if you're an extended stay! We were there for 3 months, and everything was great until the owner came back after having surgery. She's something else. She will stalk you. (Not kidding). Very unfriendly and rude. When we first came, we were told if we needed our lot mowed, just to ask because they don't like mowing the monthlies in case someone is napping, etc. So every week, I would politely ask, and it was done. Until the owner came! Then we all got a real ugly letter that I've attached. Our

We have stayed there on several occasions and love it there. This was our 3rd memorial day weekend we've stayed. The staff we encountered is very pleasant and accommodating. The owner remembers us every time we stay. The pool is not always open for memorial day weekend due to weather or other circumstances. But we have been there other times of the year and it is a great pool. Very deep on the one end. The game room has 3 or 4 arcade games, pool table, and jukebox. There are also bored games, puzzles, and books. Laundry facilities are there and work well. The store has bare basics for camping.

We went as a group last weekend and rented two spots. The spots were in the shade and were pretty large! We felt like we were truly in the woods! It wasn’t too busy so we had the pool, basketball courts, and canal to ourselves. The shower house was one of the cleanest I have been in. My dog loved being able to run free and play in the canal- by far her favorite camp out spot so far! We went to Shaker Woods Festival and being pregnant I was exhausted afterwards and the manager was kind enough to let us stay late so I could rest instead of packing up!!! We had a great experience and will definitely

I, too, would not even give this one star if it wasn't forced. My fiancé was called into town to work for 4 months at a power plant in the area, along with two other co-workers. He called her to reserve an RV site. The next day, we received this email (The damn camper has 3 separate beds, so why is it any of the old biddy's business???):
We regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer a site to you at Lock 30 Woodlands.
As we had discussed at length yesterday, and on one previous phone call, our policies do not permit "teaming" up of multiple workers. Because sites are designed for

We camped here in the middle of October for the first time and we were very happy with our stay. The entire campgroup was spotless including the clubhouse and restrooms. The employees were super friendly and always available. This CG is very dog friendly which was a huge bonus for us :-)
The clubhouse was full of arcade games, pool, jukebox and much more! There is also a nice swimming pool but it was obviously closed for the year. The restrooms and showers were definitely cleaned daily if not multiple times throughout the day. They also have a basketball court, bocce ball, volleyball and multiple

Memorial Day summer camping kickoff at Lock 30 is one of the greatest times of the summer. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable of the local area with many suggestion of things to do.

First time here. Definitely wooded and secluded. Nice pool. Staff was friendly. Laid back atmosphere. Was actually kind of nice compared to some of the hectic days at some of the other campgrounds we've been to. I don't agree with the kids extra charges, but that seems like par everywhere anymore. Maybe add a/c to the game room. When it rained we spent some time in there but it was extremely hot.
