Hepler Animal Hospital was established in 1987 by Lawrence M. Hepler DVM, a small animal practitioner. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. After working at Black Jack Animal Clinic in North St. Louis County for 3 years, he opened his own clinic in March of 1987. Dr. Hepler prides himself in spending as much time as necessary with each patient. He has proudly served St. Charles and St. Louis Counties for over 25 years and looks forward to many more years.

Vaccinations are extremely important for the overall health and well being of your dog or cat. Vaccinations can protect your pet from life-threatening diseases like distemper, parvovirus, rabies and bordatella. Preventing these diseases will assure your pet a better quality of life and in the long run will be the least expensive way of caring for your pet.

He is so flexible with his schedule and gives you reasonable payment options for any services or medications that he prescribed for your pets recovery & health care /diet recommended to live there best life !

I brought my two dogs in for a routine exam and vaccinations. Dr. Hepler was very knowledgeable and responsive and did not overcharge. The last vet I went to was going to charge me three times the amount Dr. Hepler did. He doesn’t suggest things that your pet likely won’t need. Just to scare you as some would.

Dr. Hepler is awesome! Super nice and flexible with scheduling. He addressed my concerns and developed a treatment program for my fur baby with CHF. Price was excellent and he is honest and does not overcharge. I highly recommend him to see your pets. Nina is normally nervous at the vet, but Dr. Hepler is so calming, he settled right down for the exam.

We love taking our pets to Dr. Hepler. We've been going to him for about 20 plus years. He's a caring person. He gets you in the day you call if possible. He does work alone and to me that what makes him so special. He explains everything to you and will give you a price on what it will cost. I think he cares about animals and likes what he does!
