I've known from an early age that becoming a professional photographer was my calling. My grandfather was a photographer. Watching him shoot was a formative experience filled with laughter, emotion and wonder. He infected me with the love of capturing the beauty of the life happening around us. My goal is to give you the kind of experience I had as a child with my grandfather, creating memories that last a lifetime.
For me, maternity & newborn photography is about telling the story of your journey from bump to birth. Nothing is more beautiful than this amazing process just as it is, stretch marks and all. I strive to create images evocative of that beauty in mothers, fathers, newborns and the event of birth itself.
When I'm shooting portrait photography, my interest is in capturing everything behind the pose: a look, an expression, the shine in the eyes. Whether the shoot is for senior portraits, professional head shots or a family portrait, I strive to create images that evoke the feeling of the moment and let the individual personalities shine through.
