I have been photographing weddings for 15+ years in Charleston, and beyond so I have a wealth of knowledge, and I'm always happy to help.
Your wedding photographs are an investment in memories that you and your family will cherish for generations. As a photographer, it is an honor to document such an important event. Countless subtle moments happen between the couple and the crowd of family and friends. All of these tiny moments add up to something quite grand.
Portraits are ideally taken close to sunrise or sunset. The light is softer, which is more flattering and has more color. Every family is unique, but I recommend photographing families with toddlers and young children at sunrise. Kids are rested and ready to smile. Older children and big families with several generations usually do the best closer to sunset.
Fabric photo coffee table books are available in an assortment of colors. Fabric covers not only give your book a colorful upgrade, they also add a linen texture that's satisfying to hold. Imprinting is available. After your images are posted to your online gallery I will hand pick approximately 75 images that best tell the story of your wedding day, or portrait session.

Kate is phenomenal to work with. She arrived early so that she could get familiar with my venue and the spaces we had to work with. She is so talented! I’ve never had a photograph taken of myself that I was happy with, until my wedding! Wow! She has a special touch with bringing out genuine smiles and capturing candid moments. She is also not afraid to take charge. She had valet move cars and stopped traffic (literally) just to get the perfect shot. I cannot say enough great things about her. Hire her! Kate was fantastic to work with. I found her online and booked her to take pictures of my family on vacation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! She was easy to communicate with, professional, FANTASTIC with herding all of the family members and getting the babies to smile, and best of all, her finished product was stunning.
