I am a passionate, creative people-person who appreciates beauty in the details. It thrills me that I am able to create order and beauty through my lens from a scene most people would walk right past and never notice. After receiving my degree in journalism, I worked a couple years post-college as a newswriter before falling head over heels in love with photographing weddings.
Valerie took so many beautiful photos before, during, & after my son surprised his now 'bride-to-be' with his proposal on Valentine's Day at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. She then compiled them in a wonderful video, which made me feel like I was there and brought me tears of joy. Highly recommend her!
The royal blue, gold, and white wedding colors looked beautiful with the greens of the foliage on the grounds. One of our absolutely favorite details from Carrie + Garrett's wedding is the artist sketching and painting throughout the entire day - what a beautiful and unconventional way to capture the day.
Your wedding day is, for us, between six and twelve hours of on the go, creative, nonstop photography - and we wouldn't have it any other way! In addition to being incredibly detail oriented, we are also multi-taskers - making your day even more worry free. If there's ever one day in your life that comes close to being perfect, it's probably your wedding day.
Every couple's chemistry is unique! We want to document all the little things you love about each other. The best compliment we have ever receive on our work is when a client declares, "Wow, that's so us!" Your engagement photography experience with us is anything but posed and cheesy. Sessions with us are relaxed, whimsical, and often hilarious.
