A composite (tooth colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. Kelly is a great dentist. She always makes sure I have had enough anesthesia, and is very caring about her patients. Her office is professional, everyone is following all COVID required precautions, she has a warm and friendly bedside manner, and I believe her pricing to be fair. I highly recommend her. I hope to be a patient of hers for a long time.

Kelly was my dentist in California for many years. In 2005 I moved from California...and that was 16 yrs ago! I happen to be visiting California back in 2011. And somehow I needed her dental help then. And she was there for me! The reason I am writing this is because you can't find a better dentist ANYWHERE else! I miss her. I still am wearing a partial she made for me 17 yrs ago! And you can't beat that!

I'm a new patient with Dr.Elward and just relocated from Southern California and now live in Petaluma .
I went into her office for a cleaning and felt like part of their family almost immediately . It's obvious that Dr. Elward wants to cultivate a culture of warmth and acceptance for her patients while maintaining the utmost in professionalism and expertise .

Still a Favorite. I had to go to another dentist due to my insurance changing, but I have returned and will never leave again. Even though this office is still not in my new network, my portion isn't bad enough to keep me away. I love the team here and their great costumer service. I would highly recommend this office to everyone I know.
PS I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentists, and this office has always taken care of me like I was part of their family.

Dr. Elward's office is friendly, clean, and well-organized. The previous dentist said I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown, whereas, after a much more thorough exam, she said it was a superficial crack and the tooth only required that the filling be replaced. Plus she found another filling that had fallen out.
She is a very cheerful person who is sensitive to anything that might be painful. The whole experience was basically

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Elward for about five years now. The one thing I love about the office is that they always greet you when you walk in and they always remember a little something about you. I don't know how they do it. Maybe they write it down on a little cheat sheet, who knows? But they always ask something like how was your vacation you did in XYZ, how is John's retirement going, things like that. It is really a very nice touch.

If I could give Kelly and her team 10 stars I would.
I have a lot of anxiety, so finding the right Dentist was crucial for me. During my whole procedure Kelly and her team made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was checked on multiple times throughout my appointment and was even given music to listen to, to help calm my nerves. I will never go to another dentist now that I found Kelly!

I found Dr. Elward and have been happy with her staff and services offered over the last 5 years. I had terrible experiences as a child, but quickly realized Kelly and her staff were there to help me - not hurt me. Since then, I've made a commitment to keeping my smile healthy and seeing her team for regular check up's. I recommend her to anyone I know looking for a great dental experience.

Kelly has been my dentist for more than 15 years. She and her staff have taken such good care of me. I especially recall those early years when I needed a lot of dental work post-stroke. I had a serious head and neck tremor, so much so, she had one of her assistants hold my head still so she could work. A few years later she replaced my front tooth after the previous implant from another dentist sheared off at the gum line. She went over and beyond to make sure the new tooth matched perfectly. I haven't gone to the dentist in over 10 years because of bad dental experiences as a child, but close friends & my own Mother recommended Kelly, and thank God they did! I have not been to a dentist in awhile as my previous dentist retired. As a child, I had some pretty bad experiences which left me rather nervous about going to the dentist. I was so happy to learn about Dr. Kelly Elward. She and her staff were very gentle, explained what they were going to do and kept checking if I was ok. They really put my mind at ease. Dr Elward and her staff are so kind and competent! Like many people I'm not fond of going to the dentist and I'm terrified of needles. Dr Elward and her staff never made me feel uncomfortable w my fears and went above and beyond to put me at ease. I can't say enough about how wonderful everyone is there! Another nice bonus was the no interest payment plan they offered me. Pain free all the way around.

Dr. Kelly Elward is the most phenomenal, caring, compassionate dentist I have ever had. She cares so much for you, not to be in pain. She is very apologetic, if she thinks she is hurting you. It is very endearing. And believe me, after going through about 25 dentists over my 40+ years, I can honestly say, she is the first to ever care so much whether I was in pain or not. I have many stitches now and she couldn't believe that I watched the whole surgery but it was really cool to watch. I will probably be very unhappy for the next few days but, small price to pay so I can be proud of my smile

Dr. Kelly Elward is, in my eyes, the best dentist I have ever had. I used to have anxiety and couldn't even sit in the chair for a cleaning. After having a bad experience with another dentist, I stopped going to the dentist. Just the thought would make me have anxiety and panic attacks. I've been terrified of the dentist for years, and so when I turned 18, I stopped going because I was so afraid of being talked down to and made fun of again. I've been so self-conscious about my teeth because of that, and I had nightmares about losing them because I was too afraid of going back to get insulted again. Dr. Elward is the best around! She worked with me to help relieve my anxiety about the dentist and was kind and considerate of all my needs and fears. I'm finally able to get into the dentist office because of her and the supportive staff. The staff is fantastic and treats you like family. Would recommend Dr. Elward to anyone!!
