Seeking help is the first step towards a healthier, more balanced life. Our goal is to help you find your authentic path in life, whether you are a child, adolescent, adult, or couple. Katie and Jonathan each hold master's degrees in Counseling from Georgia State University, and are licensed as professional counselors in the state of Georgia.
In addition, Katie is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor. We both work with children, teens and adults. Although we have a particular affinity for connecting with adolescents in a genuine, authentic way to help them work through family, peer, and academic issues, we are also passionate about helping adults.

Katie has a warm and friendly manner and I found it easy to open up to her for help. She was so quick to respond in ways that kept me optimistic and confident. I like how she used verbal games to help me do some introspection and self reflection. She listened to me without cutting me off and helped me get my thoughts and emotions sorted out. I have had other counselors who I didn't feel important to, but Katie really helped me feel like I mattered.

I really went back and forth as to whether or not I should post a review. After thumbing through my old emails- I decided I should. My experience with Katie was mixed, but - I have to say I left on a very bad note. I saw her for several years and after I finally felt like I was at a stand still, she basically handed me off to a new counselor in my most vulnerable time of need. I was under the impression that this woman was someone she knew personally and she was not. It felt as if she was passing the buck. I hope her practices have improved and she has a bit more ethics and empathy towards her
