Honestly, if I could give Shana & Trevor, along with the rest of their team 10 Stars I would! They're that good, you cannot go wrong with this group and the service they provide. They have so many great options for food and bar service. We absolutely love when we find out that a couple has hired them for their event, it definitely makes our hearts happy. They are dependable, friendly and willing to go that extra mile. If you're planning an event, do yourself a favor and call them first, you won't be disappointed!

I used this caterer for my husband's 50th birthday party. The event was at Buffalo Trace Distillery this past Saturday.
Shana was a pleasure to work with planning menus and party flow. This was extremely important with me planning from out of state. There were no surprises once the menu and numbers were decided.
The day of the party Renee and the crew got to work and made sure everything was not only delicious, but well presented. The food was amazing! A crowd favorite with my party was the hot brown appetizer and the bourbon brisket. All of it was fantastic, though, and absolutely nobody

Wonderful in every way! Shanna and her team are amazing and made sure every detail was in place (silverware, table linens, appetizers, bar, etc.) for our big day. She was patient with us through postponed dates and changing plans and everything tasted just as amazing the day of as it had at the tasting! We have received several comments about how yummy the food was. I was so confident that Shanna had things taken care of and never had to worry. 100% recommend choosing BBC for your special day!

We reserved the Copper Roux for a wedding rehearsal dinner for around 80 guests and the catering for this venue is provided exclusively by Bayou Bluegrass. It turned out that booking this venue, was a very good decision. Shanna was so helpful and so flexible , even through a few menu changes. She had great suggestions for drink pairings and appetizers. The venue itself looked great when we all arrived, and the best part was I didn't have to do anything except write a check. They decorated, served us , provided all the necessities or a lovely dining experience, including a barman and fully stocked

We set up meetings with a few caterers in the area. One of them we knew would be a tasting that we were charged over $100 for. It was okay, if not a bit stodgy, and they didn't even let us keep any of the food. Our meeting with Bayou Bluegrass was just supposed to be a sit-down to talk through initial details and needs, and instantly Shanna made us comfortable and gained our trust without even trying. She was so relaxed and knew exactly where we were coming from for everything, and her confidence was unbelievably comforting. Not only that, she even let us taste some of the dishes they were making

BBC catered our Oct 2019 wedding and we received multiple compliments from guests on the food!! I worked with Shanna and JP, who did an excellent job. Shanna assisted us multiple times when we made changes to our order. JP and his team got our food tables ready and moved them after the ceremony, since both our ceremony and reception were in the same room! I have no complaints! Thanks!!

I wish I could give BBC more than 5 stars! They are wonderful to work with from start to finish. The food is the best I've ever had from a catering company, and I have now used them for both my wedding and my work holiday party. We received so many compliments at both events about the food AND the service. I cannot get over how wonderful Erin is to work with- she is a fairy godmother and takes care of EVERYTHING. When Erin is there, you can sit back and enjoy your event! Highly, highly recommend!

My daughter's wedding reception was held at the Round Barn Stable of Memories. We had 5 stations of heavy appetizers, salads, hot and cold foods, and desserts and they were wonderful! Every guest complimented the food and bar. Thank you for all you did to make this a special day for my daughter and son-in-law.

My work recently held an event at their Copper Roux venue. It was a great event- they had projector equipment and a microphone which was convenient for us. We had a mix of high and low tables and were able to feed the projector screen view onto flat screens throughout the area. The food was great- we had a few different appetizers which went over well with our clients- we had approximately 75. The staff was great, both with the bar and setting up and taking down the food. The only possible downside of this place was that it is set off the road a bit, but I don't think anyone got lost finding

I've been to a lot of weddings over the years and (lets be honest) the food is typically mediocre. I'm a big foodie so I was very particular when it came to my own wedding, but Bayou Bluegrass definitely delivered. We opted for their pulled pork, princess chicken, mac and cheese, grilled veggies, and a goat cheese and walnut salad. It was incredible. They are wonderful at what they do. They made my guests happy and helped make my wedding a night to remember!

I attended an opening reception at Cross Gate Gallery for their new art exhibit. We first eat with our eyes, and I have to say the table set with the food offerings was lovely. Every platter of food was creative and beautifully presented, and with wonderful variety. Each and every tidbit (and I tasted everything) was delicious. I inquired who the caterer was, and they told me "Copper Roux", however, I believe they are the event venue, while their food service is by
"Bayou Bluegrass Catering". Our little Lexington is fortunate to have so many excellent caterers.

Excited to go there for their Father's day crawfish boil.
Needless to say it did not live up to expectations. while they had crawfish, alligator etc. it was 10.00 a lb for the crawfish really pricey and they werent the tastiest.
The Alligator was overcooked and tough.

Just went to a wedding catered by Bayou Bluegrass, and it was amazing! The staff were professional and the food was perfect! The wedding was in the Round Barn at the Red Mile and was amazing! There was minimal decoration which made it more beautiful than someone who had spent thousands for decorations. Cheers to Bayou Bluegrass for such a wonderful time! Will always suggest them for future catering needs!
