Services
We care about mental health. While recognizing that physical, emotional, spiritual, and social factors are at play, we treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, OCD, grief and social anxiety. We look at underlying factors such as childhood abuse and trauma to help you be well in body, mind, and spirit.
Getting to the best treatments requires a thorough assessment of your condition, a review of which treatments have been effective or ineffective in the past, and understanding any co-occurring conditions that may impact your care. The psychiatric evaluation process typically requires two or three sessions to get to know you and understand your needs.
The use of medications, and sometimes supplements, for your care is a combination of science and art. We will tailor your treatment to you as an individual, while following the best evidence-based treatments and guidelines. The goal is that your overall function improves, while you return to feeling fully yourself.
We wholeheartedly believe that psychotherapy is part of a holistic mental health treatment package. Although we do not currently offer therapy, therapy will likely be offered for specific client concerns in the near future. We refer to a network of therapists who work with clients to meet their unique needs.
Founded in 2009 by Deonne Brown Benedict, Charis Clinic is a small practice that believes personalized care and relationship building are the basis for improving outcomes. Dr. Deonne has been an nurse practitioner for 25 years. Patients can schedule appointments online at a time that works for them.

Mr. Richard, twelve years ago, I accosted Dr. Deonne, as I call her in a full blown raging manic state. I am bi-polar. And I wanted her to react to me in anger. She was a class act. She quietly explained that I would have to make an appointment later in the week. But no, I wanted her to be just as emotional as I was. But she wasn't. And Mr. Richard, I am a black woman. And 12 years later, she is still my primary care provider until she switched over to mental health. I still use her for mental health. TRUST ME, SIR, SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN. She is an excellent, knowledgeable

I'm writing this review on my mothers behalf. she had botox done at this clinic, no issues with that. she later made an appoint for lip fillers paid around $700 for it and it was not done correctly. she ended up with a lump on the left side of her mouth, seems like too much was injected on that side or it was injected incorrectly. This was done on Friday and had to wait till Monday to state her concerns. They asked her to come in so that they can have a look, she was told that the lump is normal and it will eventually go down. Now, when i look at my mother I still see the wrinkles, not much has

Dr. Brown-Benedict is one of the most thoughtful and considerate physicians I've ever come across. She is not one of these 10 or 20 minute turn-around specialists; she takes her and your time to get to the core of the issue. She cares about you. And she tolerates my jokes. I learned my lesson though being somewhat over weight I told her it was a thyroid problem, my excuse, didn't have one, so she tested for it by drawing blood. My fault. My wife sees her as well. She's the best.

Nothing but respect for Dr. Benedict. My whole family is under her care. She spends quality time with each of us. Follows up and if there is something concerning you will get a call from her after hours, because she cares.
To the person who left a comment saying she claims to be a Dr. She has a doctorate degree what else do you expect!

I love my doctor! I have been seeing Deonne for probably 20 years now...my family and I have been following her from clinic to clinic and love that she has had her own for the last 8 years! I've known her since I was a little girl and now she has not only been my doctor but has also been my son's! I didn't have to go looking for a separate pediatrician because she has a background in that so this is a one-stop shop!! She is the definition of kind and thorough in her work so that you live the healthiest life possible! My family truly feels blessed to have her as our doctor.

Dr. Deonne has been taking care of me and my family for years now. she has always been very informative with any injury or illness iv ever had and always knows who to see if I need a specialist. she has always been a kind, caring and supportive person as well as my doctor. She has gone well above and beyond the call of duty for me and stayed late at the end of the day to help me through things several times. I’ve been to a lot of doctors most just throw pills at you and leave you to it. This one folks, she cares and knows how to help.

Deonne Brown Benedict, ARNP or as I call her affectionately Dr. Deonne is an great listener, intuitive diagnostician and knows the best specialists to refer you to when that is needed. The specialists all give her high marks and she is recognized as a skilled, learned professional. I have been her patient for over 4 years. She takes care of my routine exams and those sessions that require deeper research. When I complained about a constant, persistent pain, she believed me. Even though nothing could be found on Cat scans or MRIs. She sent me to a specialist because she believed and I wound up

"Dr." Deonne as she calls herself, is not actually a medical doctor. She has a doctorate degree in something relating to medical, and takes advantage of that to call herself "Dr." She is actually a family nurse practitioner. Nothing wrong with being a nurse practitioner, but it is a bit misleading to call yourself "Dr." in a medical setting, if you aren't one.
I am not a high-maintenance patient; I go to the Dr. for my annual exam and an occasional illness, but that's about it. I do take a prescription for sleep (that I have taken for over 14 years. Dr. Deonne's office could not seem to manage
