Services
Dr Whalley grew up in Tacoma, WA. He completed his biology degree at the University of Denver, and then traveled and competed on the Freeskiing World Tour as a professional big mountain freeskier. He received his doctorate of optometry from Pacific University's College of Optometry, before moving to Oahu to be closer to his family on Kauai.

Dr. Bill Whalley is by far the best optometrist I have ever been seen by---- he has several years of experience but is young and up to date on all of the. latest techniques/advances in today's eye care.
He takes time to make sure each patient has the best exam and explains things in a way you can understand. I am extremely pleased and impressed with this health care professional. The staff at Precision Vision also deserves high praise for their great customer care.
I would highly recommend Dr. Whalley!!!

Dr Whalley is an excellent optometrist. He explained everything in a very clear and concise manner and patiently listened to and addressed all my concerns. I was seen in a timely manner and made to feel comfortable and informed throughout my entire visit. Thanks also to his very friendly and efficient staff! It was a pleasant experience visiting Precision Vision Kapolei. You may be a little nervous considering you are having a delicate organ examined, but Dr. Whalley was kind, willing to answer all my questions, helpful, and knowledgeable; so the visit went smoothly. Dr. Whalley and his staff treated me with patience, and they even took the time by offering assistance as I was indecisive in which frames to purchase. I was overdue for eye check up and my distance glasses were not as good as before. I couldn't get in to see the M.D. I usually go to for many months. I know Bill Whalley from my neighborhood and was lamenting one day that I was overdue with my check-up etc. Said I also needed glaucoma check. He said his office had the ability to do that as well as glasses of course. I always thought I had to go to an ophthamologist for that.
I went to the nice new office in Kapolei. Kelly is the optician and welcomed me upon my arrival. It's located behind Jack in the Box. Dr. Whalley started the exam

Dr Whalley and his staff are very welcoming and helpful. Dr Whalley is honest, and will take his time to explain differences between contacts and prices which is rare in a doctor. He knows his trade, as well as his products. He does his best to provide the most for his patients. He is also easy to talk to and is always attentive to our needs.
He also takes all types of medical insurance , which is always a plus. !
Plus, he has a lot of patience. He never rushes you out of the office or tries to rip you off by telling you to buy the most expensive products. I have had that happen to me before
