Please get in touch with us to make an appointment, for billing inquiries, or for any general questions or issues we can help you with. We have multiple ways to connect! Dr. Rubin may perform out-patient surgical procedures at different locations than his office locations. Below are the two locations for out-patient procedures.
Dr. Edward Rubin MD has become one of Long Island's most trusted pain management specialists. Dr. Rubin specializes in the treatment of chronic pain of the low back and neck, and muscle pain related to sports injuries. He works in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons in managing pain in the joints and spine.
Dr. Rubin is board-certified in both pain management and anethesiology. Based on his and his team's expertise, we are capable of providing meaningful pain management treatments for any pain scenario you or your loved ones may be suffering with. Pain in the neck radiating down the arm is often approached in the same way as the lower back.
Low back pain radiating down the leg is commonly known as sciatica. The technical name for it is lumbar radiculopathy. It can often be confusing to patients because the pain may appear to travel up the leg as well as down the leg. Additionally, different nerves can travel in different patterns. For example, pain may go down the front of the thigh to the knee or down the side of the leg or back of the leg (classical sciatica).

Never met the doctor because the office staff is incompetent. Got an appointment two days after I called due to "a cancellation" which I was so grateful to get for my mother 86 and who was in tremendous pain . I send test reports over the next day and was happy my mom was one step closer to getting relief. When I arrive with mother in hand the young lady at the desk with the "I could care less attitude" proceeds to say "your appointment was yesterday","We can schedule you for one week later".
No thank you...If this is how the staff treats new patients we

Dr Rubin has been my doctor for over a decade! I am working- volunteering- socializing again amd even chasing after my grandson! From laser therapy to Ketamine infusion therapy and much more , Dr Rubin has all of the new cutting edge treatments! In these difficult times he offers telemedicine and I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was! When my daughter fractured her back in a horseback riding accident I didn't hesitate to take her to see Dr Rubin! I highly recommend Dr Rubin! His staff are super friendly and professional- wait time is not super long and his offices are easy to get

Dr. Rubin has been my pain management doctor for almost a year now. Every time I have my appointment he makes sure to spend time with me and go over where my pain is and what he can do to make it better. I will start my epidural injections in January and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Dr. Rubin to do it. Dr. Rubin is a trustworthy doctor who truly cares about his patients. I see him in his Garden City location, and sometimes I have to wait a while. The waiting doesn't really bother me as much as it normally would because I am waiting for an excellent compassionate doctor.

My time at Pain Management has been nothing but beyond expectations.
The staff is helpful and professional at all times. From being flexible regarding appointment changes to suggestions on different types of physical therapy. I started with them before surgery and am still with them after the surgery. More people I deal with should run as well as this group. Dr. Rubin has been there when needed and put all of my concerns
to rest. I feel I am in good hands. Besides being a nice and caring Doctor
he is a good guy. He cares and makes himself available.

My elderly father has been Dr. Rubin's patient for approximately 6 years. I don't know where my father would be without him. No physician has ever had the ability to relieve my father's severe, chronic, and debilitating lumbar back pain. Dr. Rubin has done many procedures over the years. They have all been successful, unfortunately because of my dad's chronic condition, the pain returns. Dr. Rubin has never given up on him. We are able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Rubin is a very busy man. If Dr. Rubin cannot see my father, one of his Physician

Great dr ...listens to what you have to say and takes the time to explain, which I appreciate so much. The first time we meet we were trying a couple of medication procedures and he told me to call with any question concerns etc..which I did I was shocked that he called me right back and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I've only been seeing him a couple months but so far he's been fantastic

I applaud Dr Ed Rubin, he listens and responds with the compassion of a true professional. I was referred to Dr Rubin after a total knee replacement which didn't go well. I told everyone, who would listen, that something was wrong and I was in pain. Dr Rubin heard me, treated the pain I was experiencing and never once made me feel disrespected, placated or like a drug seeker. A subsequent MRI revealed the problem, but at some point I felt like Dr Rubin was the only professional who believed me. And that made me feel better about myself. Thanks Dr Rubin

Dr. Rubin is a great and caring doctor. He is patient, kind, attentive, and doesn't dismiss your symptoms (where many other doctors do). My quality of life has greatly improved due to his treatment plan, and I am enormously greatful for that.
Throughout my treatment with Dr. Rubin, we have tried several different modalities besides medication therapy, such as laser therapy, lumbar nerve blocks, and injections. He offers a host of different therapies for all sorts of pain types and conditions.
I would highly recommend Dr. Rubin if you or someone you know finds themselves suffering from pain.

He is awful! He has ZERO personality and is also quite off-putting. I had three lumbar epidurals by him and each time I had crippling leg cramps for several weeks after. When I asked him about it he ignored me and said he had never heard of that response...meanwhile it's all over the internet. He has no interest in discussing anything with the patient or listening to the patient. All business, no bedside manner whatsoever. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. He's a slob.

Dr Rubin, is to put it simply, great. He's genuinely interested in all of his patients and never makes me feel like I'm being rushed out or that I'm just a number. I've been seeing him for some time now and always leave feeling better than I did before I got there. His staff is polite and professional and always greet me with a smile and make sure that all my needs are met before leaving. I strongly recommend Dr. Rubin.
