I have lived here for a little over a year, and I absolutely love this place. The apartments feel brand new, have high ceilings, large glass windows. These apartments are amazing. The utilities are all brand new as well. Beautiful swimming pool, amazing gym. Large garage with plenty of spaces. Right next to downtown, river walk, dequinder cut. This place is great.
I do not think any of these negative reviews have actually lived here. The heat/AC is perfectly fine, and work very fast. Management is great, and always responds quickly. The only time I ever had an issue was when a large and loud party

I have a few friends who live here. Tend to spend a lot of time here.
Pros:
Decent pricing, great amenities, updated kitchens, clean rooms and building, great parking.
Cons:
Heating and cooling is inefficient. Bills can be pricey.
Biggest thing: management that just doesn't care. Whether its responding to any concern or getting your paperwork to you on time. For example, there has been a party bus that blasts music at all hours of day (including the am) just outside the building. 10+ residents have complained. Guess what the management has done? Absolutely nothing.

I have lived here for almost 2 years and the complex has been fantastic! Management is very responsive. All appliances are fairly new, so maintenance requests are minimal.
Grocery store across the street is convenient, and street parking has been easy to find year round. All around great experience!

I’ve been living at DuCharme for almost a year now and certainly enjoyed my time here. The location is great to be near downtown but just far enough outside to still have space. Plus being next to the park is great for walking a dog or such. The apartment itself is great with the tall ceilings and floor-to-celiing windows allowing plenty of natural… light. It’s also a newly built building, so everything is clean, modern, and great looking premises. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The only con I can say is that a lot of outside noise can come in at times during the

Really have nothing but good things to say about DuCharme. In terms of value, not much beats it for a downtown apartment complex. You're getting solid amenities, a great location in proximity to both downtown and local area (grocery store, dry cleaners, pharmacy/drugstores), and a park right next door. Open concept apartment really makes it feel spacious too. Parking is a breeze if you want to just park your car on Lafayette instead of paying - and even for the parking garage, it's far cheaper than most downtown apartment complexes with covered parking. Management is also great and keeps us up

In terms of value for downtown living, doesn’t get much better. The apartments themselves are spacious with modern appliances. You have solid amenities and a great location for both night life and every day needs. Parking is a breeze. Management always keeping us informed of recent events and updates with the community. Right by dequindre cut too which is an awesome spot for running, walking, biking, or just a route to take to the enjoyable river walk. Great spot all around!

I have lived at Ducharme place for almost 2 years now. I have referred a lot of other residents to this complex also. Ducharme is great. What stole my heart initially was the open floor plan and the amazing kitchen. You know a girl loves her kitchen. The floor to ceiling windows are also a plus. From my apartment I receive a great view of the sun… rise and fall. It is very close to a lot of the happenings but far enough to not be effected by crazy noise or street traffic. I have literally walked from my place to Comerica Park or Little Ceasars arena. Also, the spot is pet friendly with dog

Moved in here in Spring after getting burned out downtown. I have to say, I love it! The management are the BEST! So friendly and so easy to work with. My place is a 2 BR unit on the top corner facing Lafayette, and it is quiet as a mouse! I never hear my neighbors, so honestly cannot understand the negative reviews concerning noise. It's possible that those overlooking the pool area might hear some, but the pool closes at 10 pm for the comfort of those nearby. There is secure parking and an evening on-site security guard.

While the units are beautiful, up to date, spacious, and modern, the aspect really sets DuChame Place above its competitors is the management company. Brian, the property manager, goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy and their needs are met. To be specific, he helped me figure out the best situation for me when I had a roommate issue. Above being responsive and timely, you could tell he really cares about helping you find the best situation. Additionally, he is constantly communicating with the residents to provide updates as changes occur. I can honestly say this is the best

We lived here for 2 years. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, and the apartments are beautiful. The windows were our favorite part, with a beautiful view of the park. The hot tub, pool and gym are really great. The only negative thing I can say is that some residents are inconsiderate, but luckily for us, our neighbors on both sides were really great. It would also be nice to have security. Overall I highly recommend these apartments.

Very loud every night. I've seen this kind of reviews and initially though some people are sensitive to noise. But this is no joke. People are screaming and yelling every night that you can hear from the end of hallway. You can hear everything from outside and hallway even when people are passing by, so imagine how loud it can be if your neighbor… is partying everyday. Good place to move in if you like to be awake all night.
Staff are also very slow and rude. You usually need to send at least 2-3 emails before things are finally taken care of. They also always complaint about residents/visitors

The staff are super helpful and nice and definitely go the extra mile to keep us happy. They're very prompt with any concerns we have and come up with a solution fast. It's a new community, there are bound to be a couple kinks, that's the nature of… it. Keep up the great work guys!
