Services
Other than an in-person visit, what other services, or ways of communicating with the doctor, are available? The doctor is available for house-call visits, as well as telemedicine services, including video visits and telephone visits. For established patients, you can stay in close communication with her through email correspondence, as well.

Insurance: Dr. Falk does not accept insurance and has opted out of Medicare; however, many of the services may be covered, or partially covered, by insurance companies.
Sever's disease is a condition that occurs at the heel growth plate region. It is more common in young boys, around the ages of 8-11 years. The pain is present with activities, as the soft tissue structures (Achilles tendon & plantar fascia) pull along the heel bone, irritating the growth plate and causing inflammation and pain around the heel.
According to the American Diabetes Association, in 2015, more than 30 million Americans had diabetes with 1.5 million new cases diagnosed each year. From head to toe, diabetes can have significant and detrimental effects on the body, causing such things as poor eye vision, kidney damage, and peripheral neuropathy.

I was really excited when I found Dr. Falk, not only because her practice is unique in the fact that it is concierge and she comes to you, but she also specializes is sports podiatry and is a runner like myself. Her consultation with you isn't the typical shuffle you in and out as fast as possible, but rather, she gets to know you (and your feet :) She discusses and thoroughly explains your treatment options. I have been treated by Dr. Falk multiple times, fit with orthotics to cover each of my athletic needs and each experience has been excellent. Do NOT be scared off by the fact that she does

Dr. Falk is extremely knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I completely understood everything. Her flexible schedule made it easy for me to meet with her when most convenient for me as well. I will definitely be returning to get more orthotics or should any foot related issue arise. #sandiegopodiatrist #lightorthotics #sportspodiatry #sportsmedicedoc #SDPodiatrist
