The cabin was very clean and super cute. The staff was extremely helpful and wonderful (Shout out to Anne! She is awesome!) The hot tub was spotless and delightful. They offer a gas grill which was fantastic. They offered complimentary champagne or sparkling cider which was great. They even set it up on a little tray on the bed with some kisses! My husband and i had a wonderful romantic three nights in the holly rock cabin. If i could give more than five stars i would. 10/10

Critical: Value
Holly tree house. We went here for my birthday. 250 some bucks a night. We stayed from 7pm until 11am for one day even though we paid for two and I couldn't do it anymore. It's was uncomfortable, loud and leaky. I called and let them know how awful it was. Would not recommend and would definitely save my money for better places.

We stayed at their Pillow Rock cabin and it was very clean with plenty of kitchen amenities including spices and disposable items.
Plenty of room and we were 3 couples and 2 teenagers.
Very secluded and at the end of the row of cabins so fairly private as well.
It is 10 minutes to the New River Gorge area so plenty of hikes and nature. Downtown Fayetteville is also close so restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking.
Thank you!

My fiancé and I stayed in the hideaway. This cabin is in a lovely area of West Virginia with plenty to do, especially if you enjoy hiking. The owners provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne as well as two romantic wine glasses adorned with Hershey kisses. A champagne-like bottle of bubble bath soap was next to the heart shaped jacuzzi. There is a gas fireplace inside, a conventional fire pit outside, as well as a propane grill on the back patio. The owners are very responsive during the booking process, and only a phone call away during your stay.

This was our first visit to the New River Gorge area and we had a wonderful stay at the Love Shack Yurt.
Pre-arrival
Booking a cabin was pretty easy, although it wasn't 100% clear how to indicate that we would be bringing our dog. We wound up confirming his approval after booking - the staff were very helpful.
We had no trouble finding the office - there's good signage on US 19 and on Sunday Road.
During our stay
Check-in was easy. The narrow gravel roads on the property could be a challenge for especially sporty cars and some of the signage was a little difficult to understand - it could

We visited last Thanksgiving in the Laurel cabin and it was a fantastic stay. Going again this Thanksgiving with friends. The hot tubs are great, fireplaces are wonderful, and the cabins are spacious and clean. If the hot tub turns off, just unplug it and plug it back in. There are also a bunch of places within driving distance that will be emailed to you upon reservation -- restaurants, breweries, hiking, other outdoor activities, and more. A great place to spend a vacation.

Awesome views. Great location to the New River Gorge. The cabin was rustic just to our liking. The location is very quiet and serene. Setting on the porch you get a sense of returning to nature. Pure tranquility. The hot tub was a great way to witness a sunrise through the trees. Very private. Very memorable 30th wedding anniversary celebration. We drove through to see all the many cabins. We took a few photos for our next return trip. Planning a return visit this spring.

Our group of 12 had a great time at our cabin in June! For once, everything was as advertised, and looked better then the photographs! The bedrooms were nice and we had plenty of space. For a large group, we felt like the cost was excellent. Would gladly stay again!

As I sit this last morning in the peaceful space I am sad I have vacate the property by 11. When Covid hit everyone renewed love foe the outdoors has made it difficult to find decedent, affordable cabins. In early February we looked frantically to find a place for spring break with little success so we moved our dates around and came across this beauty.
We have stayed 3 nights and 4 days. We haven't seen any other people or heard them. The space is very clean and has all the necessary items, blankets, towels, dishes, etc. the hot tub was wonderful because it was a cooler wet weekend.

I first came across Country Road Cabins looking for treehouse rentals. These appear very popular and are booked up most of the time, but I am so happy I took a look at their other properties, they have so many great options!
CRC has cabin options ranging from 2 people up to 14 at least. We rented the Sugar Shack Yurt and it was everything we could ask for and more. It was absolutely spotless, which is not only a relief during Covid, but amazing considering it's a cabin in the woods haha

We stayed here last week as a quick 2 night getaway with our kids. We all loved everything about it. The fireplace was perfect since it ended up being unseasonably cold while we were there. The hot tub was perfect. Cabins were very clean and had everything you needed. We can't wait to plan a trip back in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoors!

We travel in our camper van but occasionally like to treat ourselves to indoor accommodations. I found Country Road cabins while searching for other things to do in the area and we had a very pleasant stay! We stayed in the Love Shack Yurt, located deep in the woods down a gravel road (our van does not always like gravel roads but we had no problem navigating these). The yurt was private, spacious and clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. It had both an outdoor hot tub (but the cover took two people great effort to put back on), and a red, heart-shaped tub inside. Nice flat screen television and

We had a great time here. The cabin ( the love shack) was prepped and ready for us. We never had to deal with anyone and had no problem finding the cabin or the fun in the area. They have a book of restaurants and fun to flip through, if you need it. The yurt was clean and ideal for our trip. Keys were waiting, accommodations were clean and nice. Perfect secluded weekend for us. Ps. Pet friendly! Our dog loved hiking the area. Highly recommended

Awesome lodging experience. Everything from working with Crysty on the phone beforehand to late night arrival and simplicity of finding your cabin, to the cabin's condition and layout, cleanliness, comfort and abundance of amenities (the hot tub on your own private deck!). Cabins are also spaced far enough apart to provide late night privacy without concern for disturbing neighbors. We had the Spencer cabin for a weekend. This will be our first choice for next time visiting the area!

This trip was amazing and they had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, everything was clean. The hot tub was incredible. The kitchen had everything we needed and they had laundry. We had no issues and we cooked everything. Plenty of beds and towels. The only thing was the hot water in the showers weren't super hot but it wasn't cold at all the highest level of red (hot) was probably 90/93 degrees so not bad. Highly recommend it if you wanna get away every night because it is 20/30 mins from everything adventurous, they are deep in the woods and have so much privacy. Didn't

We came here for our anniversary and had a great time relaxing in the very clean and well-supplied cabin! The TV was set to music when we got in and the hot tub was on and ready at 101 degrees. We stayed in the Hideaway, and while we didn't get to do a lot of the area attractions because of the weather, we had just as much fun spending time at the cabin.

Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway- private, clean, and in a great location. Our cabin had a nice hot-tub on the deck which was an added bonus! We stayed in January, so the New River Gorge area was pretty quiet but we were still able to hike and enjoy the area.
Cabin had all the modern amenities(heat, kitchen stuff, linens,TV) and a wood-burning fireplace! We will be back....
