This is THE essential San Diego tour. See almost all of the greatest sights San Diego has to offer, from the visually stunning Balboa Park, which is littered with Spanish Renaissance-inspired architecture, to over a dozen museums, colorful flower gardens, and the world-renowned outdoor organ pavilion, all the way to the always-happening Hillcrest, which has a great variety of shops and restaurants.

Your tour continues past the maritime history museum, the USS Midway, and into beautiful Seaport Village. You also get to travel past Horton Plaza, which just begs to be visited again after the tour ends.
Your tour starts in historic Little Italy, which was home to the Italian community, and see how it evolved into the modern business and artistic community it is today. Make your way past the ships in the bay that explored the new world or patrolled the waters in time of war. I had great fun on my rented ebike for the 2 hours that it was actually charged and working! This place is kind of an over priced tourist trap in the heart of Old Town. I was rented an ebike that was only half charged - the charge dropped to zero after about 2 hours into my 24 hour rental. Kassandra kindly came and dropped me off a charger cable.... but I am in the middle of no where, fighting fading light and no where for miles to charge it. I was left stranded on The Strand, 10 miles to final destination, in the dark, with no lights on the bike and no charge. A LONG 10 miles pedaling home with

We had such a blast on our recent trip to San Diego! Our family rented high end electric mountain bikes for the majority of our trip and it was the BEST decision! We had so much fun riding around town/beach and we were able to avoid the inevitable searching high and low for parking spots!! I cannot recommend this company enough! They were very easy to work with, great location and truly made our trip amazing.

I normally don’t do reviews, but I had to for this company. I recently visited Sunny San Diego after 15 years away (I used to live there), and the first thing I did from my arrival at the airport was take a Lyft to iride and rented an electric mountain bike. The service was extraordinary, as Chris set me up with a high end e-bike and I was able to cruise around to Balboa Park, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, the Harbor/Marina, Shelter Island, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and back to Old Town!! All in 8 hours, and with a guided tour on the app that told me all about the interesting

Worst customer service ever! I paid for 4 hour tour in an upgraded car and best insurance they had. We go out on tour and it was enjoyable. We were in our last hour and 15 min and were in little Italy when the horn went bizerk! It wouldn't stop so I called to see what they could do. We were outside the farmers market and this very loud noise was bothering everyone. People stopped to help to no avail. Almost an hour of this ear piercing solid loud noise, they send a guy in another car to see what he can do. He tells me this is our replacement car. Not the same car we had. He steps all over

Totally amazing! With all the traffic at the beach over Memorial Day weekend, nothing was more perfect than jumping on a scooter and zipping past everybody, parking basically anywhere, and going straight to the beach. Highly recommend!!

Great experience! We went in as a party of 4 without a reservation and we were assisted without issue. They gave us a free upgrade because the car we wanted was not available. This was a nice perk. I had regretted not bringing sun block but luckily they sell that too. The process to register is simple and they show you how to use the cars. Prices are reasonable. Very chill environment. The cars are good quality, clean and well maintained.

My husband and I did a 2 hour self guided tour on the motor scooters. We enjoyed our time on them. They were really easy to ride/drive and we both felt safe on them. I loved the fact that we got to go to all the main spots in San Diego. We would stop at certain places and take pictures. Even though we only spent a few minutes in each location it was more than enough time. I absolutely loved the experience! I would do iRide in another city as well.

This was definitely easier than what I thought. It is just having confidence and getting used to the feeling of the scooter. Light weight, popping color, electric, no noise, easy to drive, easy to lease one, and on top, you have a GPS phone with speakers that will keep you telling about interesting points when you check in. Follow the rout of the colour your package is. Otherwise you will be lost in the city and will have to go around all the pin points :S And after some hours you will be very tired. So stick to the plan :)
Sun is super strong on your arms and neck so be sure to wear sunblock

This was such a fun experience! It took the scooters to a whole new level! My family and friends did this as a bachelorette activity and it was lots of fun especially, since we were able to connect our music to the bikes! The gentlemen who helped us (I think he was the owner.) was very nice! He gave my group an extra 30min to our 1hr tour because of an event that was happening in Little Italy and it worked out great! We received so much attention from everyone taking videos and pics of my group. Some people were even dancing with us on our stops at the stop lights! I highly recommend iRide to

This is a fun way to spend an hour or two. We got a lot on attention from people out in the city waving and smiling as we road around. These cars are little and my husband at 6'2" was on the edge of being comfortable. These little cars drive like motorcycles or mopeds but with a lot less power. Getting to 30 mph was a stretch for them. I never felt unsafe and we had a good time. Why three stars and not five like most people? Well the cars are old or very abused. The brakes were soft and suspension nonexistent. This location either needs new cars or an overhaul of existing ones

OMG, so much fun! Was in San Diego celebrating a friends 50th and what a great way the 5 of us toured the city on the scooters. We were originally booked to do the GoCars but thank goodness that didn't work out, scooters were a much better alternative. Highly recommend to do if visiting San Diego. Extra bonus.....the owners adorable pups were there to greet and entertain us.

My boyfriend and I had been looking for something fun and different to do. Even as locals in the area it's always great to get out and explore. We didn't want to do the Segway tour as it just didn't seem fun. After reading other reviews about Iride we figured we should give it a try. To say the least it was soooo.... much fun. A totally cool way to explore the city. At first I was a bit nervous but after a great tutorial on how to operate the unit I felt much better. Units are super easy to ride and I felt like a movie star with all the people looking at us as we rode past them.

By far the coolest and most fun way to get around San Diego. These scooters are legal to drive on the street or the sidewalks! Everything about this from booking to the return was easy. We covered more of the city in less time than all other options. Easy to drive, phone holders for directions and 3 modes for speed to match your comfort level. iRideSD.com for more info.

Best experience ever! An absolute must if you are wanting to experience San Diego and all its beautiful sights while having fun riding an electric scooter. I highly recommend the guided tour. Our tour guide, James, was so great! He was fun, well versed with San Diego and all it has to offer, patient and willing to stop wherever we wanted to take in the sights and take pics. We were envied by everyone around. Everyone kept asking how they could rent one every where we went because we were the only ones that had that type of electric scooter. We will be coming back and bringing our loved ones

We celebrated my wife's birthday riding all over the city and Balboa Park, people see the difference of these electric scooters from the standing scooters and they can tell how much fun we were having! I recommend it for people of any ages. Safe, fun, easy, at a great price.

This is the BEST way to see the city. I rented this bad beast for 2 hours, and went to Seaport Village, Petco Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and Balboa Park. I returned the bike with time to spare. Todd, the owner, is BEYOND friendly and helpful. He told me where to go, how to get around, and showed me how to use the bike before I used it. I've done some cool things in my life, and this experience ranks quite high on the "all-time" list. Fun, adventurous, and thorough. I would do this again a thousand times. Todd, you're awesome! Thanks for the free bottle of water and t-shirt!

I had made plans with my spouse to rent scooters from here and go on a tour around San Diego. The place was closed all weekend with no notice or message on the answering machine. Went by twice and also called a few times. Disappointed because I traveled from NY expecting this to be an experience to remember. I just wasn’t expecting this experience. Too bad, I took my money somewhere else.

Just rented 2 Phat Scooters. Rode through downtown and balboa park had such a great time. Booking the scooter was very easy simple check out. They ask you to arrive 20 minutes prior to your reservation which was great got to ask questions and learn about the scooters. The scooters themselves were so fun to ride and well maintained they worked excellent and went pretty fast. Look forward to booking again.

Highly recommended! A fun and easy way to explore San Digo. We did a 2-hou rental on the RadRovers and they were the perfect ride for an afternoon cruise around downtown SD. The staff was super helpful and answered any questions we had and made sure we were completely comfortable and knowledgable about how to use the RadRovers befor we left for our journey. Absolutely a great way to see the city whether you're just visiting as a touist or an SD local.

AMAZING! I've been thinking about purchasing a phat scooter and found this place that rents them and wanted to take it for a test ride.

The online reservation system was super quick and easy. When I got there the staff was extremely friendly and went over all the features of the scooter as well as informing me of all the local laws. I had no idea these scooters were consider bicycles in the eyes of the law, very cool!

Now the "blow my mind" customer service part of the experience. The owner of the company personally took the time to accommodate me by figuring out a way that I
