My go to place when staying in Glendale. Really handy for shopping and all the area has to offer. The rooms might not be the most modern, but they are clean and tidy and have charm. There's no room service, but you have a host of affordable and varied eating options on your doorstep. Parking is cheap and not far from the hotel. The WiFi is also decent and the staff are very friendly. If you're looking for a good, affordable room to visit LA, this place is well worth a look.

Pros: Clean rooms, super nice front desk as well as cleaning crew. Great location next to Americana, a lot of places to eat and shop. Cheap to free parking. Refrigerator in the room. TV in the room with a lot of channels and you can also just connect your chromecast. Free Wolfgang puck coffee in the rooms. Air conditioning, comfy bed.
Cons: Spotty internet, saw tiny roaches, thin walls, no elevator, parking few blocks away. Tiniest refrigerator, no microwave. Thin walls. Old towels.

I was going to stay here around for 2 weeks while traveling because of the price + cheap parking. As

This was a nice hotel. Everything looked clean and nice. The walls are a bit thin, not too bad. It's be nice if people next door wouldn't make a lot of noise at 2 in the morning. I did not see any elevator whatsoever, meaning you do have to climb about 30 stairs when you come in and out. Supposedly there's a back entrance but we did not use it. And lastly, we did not have a car but it looked like it was mainly street parking, which did not look free. Again, there could've been something in the back. Overall, it's a nice clean hotel, near a lot of shops and restaurants. We would stay here again

Aside from Chris being amazing and helpful in every way he absolutely has the hotel in prime condition, while also catering to every need or question a person may have. Hotel has a great location, awesome service, and is very clean. The hotel has a very home like vibe which makes you never want to check out! I'll definitely be visiting again whenever I'm in town!

The Hotel Brandwood is is the BEST! I've stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel 5 or 6 times now and I will keep going back. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very comfortable, and super clean, and the entire hotel is very well maintained. The only downside of this hotel is that there is no elevator so anyone who can't do stairs will not be able to enjoy this wonderful place. The hotel is walking distance from practically everything - many amazing restaurants, bars and shopping! If you have a need to visit Glendale, CA or any of the areas surrounding Glendale make sure

Been staying here several times a year and every time, I had a great experience. The rooms are wonderful and gives you that comfort and the homey feeling.
The comfort and cleanliness is above and beyond the charts. I would recommend this place for any occasions your might have even if its just for one night. The staff is wonderful and willing to go extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Thank you all for great service.

My first time here on vacation. I must say this is by far the cleanest hotels i have ever seen. The decorated entrance and the rooms is just absolutely beautiful and a hint of European style. The bathrooms are sooo clean omg. The staff is nice and helpful. I mean if ur kind urself u will get kindness back. Many reviews said staff aren't nice..that is absolutely not true. I love that the room has a fridge. I enjoy my stay and will come back no doubt.

Clean, quiet and cozy boutique hotel. It's located in downtown Glendale and therefore it's next to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Front desk is polite and check in process was smooth.
I particularly liked the room decor, the comfy bed and Victorian style curtains. My room came equipped with a 32 inch rotatable flat screen TV, an alarm clock, a coffee maker, Rowenta Master Valet Garment Steamer, luggage rack, full length mirror, hair dryer, mini fridge (stocked with NOT FOR FREE energy drinks and soda), nice smelling complimentary toiletries, hamper basket with NOT FOR FREE snacks

Truly unhappy with the stay I had at this place.
1) the parking is about 2 blocks away from the hotel and it's in a super sketchy parking lot that honestly made me feel concerned about leaving my car parked there over night. Having to walk all the way to the hotel from the parking lot with all of my bags was incredibly inconvenient and just frustrating.
2) when you walk in, you literally feel like you're in a different era but NOT in a good way. If I'm being honest, this place gave me the creepiest vibes and I didn't even want to stay there anymore after walking in and feeling

This hotel is ok but they messed up a lot on our four night stay. Room keeping did not turn over our room. No clean towels or trash taken out. Not very helpful or welcoming. They added charges that were not made to my card $$$. When calling to dispute they gave an attitude and miss information. Did not want to help me with the issues I was facing after my stay.

From first appearance it seemed neat. But once we opened the blankets there was tiny blood spot on the sheets, with that being said we called front desk for another set and again another stain. We noticed more stains of blood around the bed skirt and realized it was bed bugs! The front desk seem like they knew but did not care.

Great location, but unfortunately that's where it ends. Rooms are tiny, hot, humid, and noisy. Like mentioned before, there is no elevator. The staff at the front desk will help if you ask but by the time you get to them your at room level. Also, there's cameras everywhere which I found unusually disturbing

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I loved the atmosphere, the beautiful artwork, and the cute room. The lighting in the room is nice. The bathrooms are very clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Warning, there are a lot of stairs. If you're a person who doesn't like stairs you'll probably have a bad time. If you're a whiney person who likes to complain, don't stay here because you're going to end up annoying everyone on earth. But if you're an adult who has grown up past such things then you'll have a really great time.

This hotel looks like The Tower of Terror/Twilight Zone on the outside and in the hallways but it's quaint, cozy, friendly staff, and is in an awesome location. The stairs and the location of the parking structure are the two odd issues that stood out. Rooms look newly remodeled. The amenities in the bathroom are nice without drying out your skin like other hotels. Many restaurants and gyms close by and The Americana at Brand is 3 blocks away.

(Stayed 11/02/18 FR; checked out 11/03/18 SA): Not quite Hollywood, but Glendale's main thoroughfare Brand Blvd. was only driving minutes away!
A longtime patron of the now closed Jax Bar & Grill in downtown Glendale, I was always fascinated by the Hotel Brandwood located right next door and not only wanted to see inside but actually stay in one of its rooms. On this fortuitous evening, my wish finally came true! For the decades I longed to experience this romantic brick building, would it live up to my expectations!?:

Pro: Great location, tons of restaurants nearby, all walking distance. Room is comfortable, and bed is soft. Shower accessories are great (Love the soap). Wifi is fast and stable
Con: As many people mentioned before, no elevator, It was ok for me since I only had two gym bags. Parking isn't onsite, it is about a block away, you have to get a parking pass from the hotel first, then park.
Overall, great hotel in Glendale.

It has good, and some semi-bad points.
Good points:
I've stayed here about 20 times in the last five years. When I come to LA on business, it's a perfectly situated hotel to get to downtown LA. In morning rush hour traffic, I can regularly get to downtown in about 25 minutes.
The interior of the hotel is perfect. Perfectly clean, and the rooms are perfectly modern. It's as clean and modern as any upscale hotel. I'm as picky as they come. I've never seen any of the bed bugs that some other person talked about, nor have I ever seen the hotel remotely dirty. If

This is the second time I have stayed here while visiting my family. There are not many great choices in the Burbank area.
The idea of a boutique hotel is intriguing and the decor is nice. As a start though, you should be willing to walk up a flight of stairs with your bags even to check in.
The rooms are decorated nicely, but also a little off. The beds look nice, but sheets are a little rough and the pillows not that comfortable.
The TV was not working when I came in room. There were two controls and the person before me must have really messed it up. It was nice it had HBO, but even
