Claire Stetina Zurbrugg (E-RYT 500, YACEP, LMT) is the Founder of Bellingham Yoga Collective and Co-Founder of Lynden Yoga Collective offering public classes, workshops, retreats and trainings in Bellingham and abroad. Her intent with the spaces she stewards is to offer a heart-full sanctuary where we can gather in community to be in relationship with source wisdom, accessed from inside each one of us.
The Bellingham Yoga Collective's Advanced Studies Program is offered to yoga instructors seeking to deepen their skills and offerings. Students who enroll in this program need to have graduated from a 200 Hour Teacher Training (RYT200). Upon successful completion of 300 hours in our Advanced Studies Program, you are able to register as a registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level (RYT-500) through Yoga Alliance.
Are you a recent grad of a yoga teacher training and not sure what your next steps should be? Let us help you. Get paired with one of Bellingham Yoga Collective's senior instructors for a custom tailored 1:1 mentorship. Upon your first meeting with your mentor, you will share your goals and together create a custom curriculum that spans approximately three months.
A study into the delicate complexity of our exquisite bodies and the ways we can experience profound transformation in tangible form. When we can better understand the subtle body, often understated and difficult to comprehend, we can tap into a higher state of consciousness. This cozy, quiet, calming practice gives us our bodies and nervous systems a chance to pause, process and shift from the space of doing to the space of being.
These 55 minute sessions teach you how to refine your alignment and how to use your yoga practice to create balance. You will be educated on yoga asanas (postures) and pre-asanas (pre-postures) that support you in your healing process. If you are new to yoga, this session can also be a starting point to learn how to safely perform yoga postures, tailored to meet your needs.

...selfless service is what immediately popped into my mind. The staff at the collective genuinely provide just that. Providing a non-judgemental environment, The Bellingham Yoga Collective helped me through some of my darkest times. They make me feel welcome and truly embody what yoga really is...UNION. Thank you BYC for your "realness"!

The most relaxing space to practice. Excellent instructors who are approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Many classes with different practices of yoga EACH day. Affordable packages to try out studio. I bought collective membership and go daily, trying new classes often. Childcare available and affordable. Even teen classes for my daughter. She has discovered a new passion with peers her age and hopefully a healthy lifelong practice.
