I am totally impressed! I called to see if I needed an appointment and was told no appointments where required. When asked what the issue was with my computer, the owner talked me through how to resolve the problem over the phone. After a few minutes, the problem was solved! I had a great experience. Nick, the owner, took care of me. I came here for a second opinion and instead of a $150 computer repair job that "could cost more"... I paid $45 and computer is better than before I brought it in.
I could tell when he started talking that this man KNEW computers inside and out.
He is also very covid safe, which is great.
It's also across from the best coffee house in town, so not a bad place to be if you need to wait.

He doesn’t seem warm and fuzzy he’s totally about ur product. Do not judge by his personality or u will miss out on a great place to take ur electronics for amazing price convenience and quality as well as honest. I’m a total paranoid person so that’s saying something. He was quick and laser focused on the computer and that made me feel happy. No fake friendliness like others

I've taken my laptop into NIck a couple of times now with new problems having cropped up. Each time, he has accurately diagnosed and corrected the problem, consistently on time and within budget.
He's kind of like the ignition key to my car: I don't know exactly know how the engine works, but I do know where the key goes.

I recently brought my laptop to Hi Tech with a hard drive failure. The laptop company was going to replace the drive but I wanted to see if Hi Tech could retrieve the data on the laptop that I had stupidly not backed up...
The technician obviously was extremely experienced and spent some time attempting to boot the drive in different ways. He suggested getting another drive of the same model and he would switch out the circuit boards and see if that would work. I would have done it if I wasn't so sure it was a mechanical failure with the drive (I heard the noise of doom just before it crashed

Nick is really, really nice, and seems to view computers sort of like people. When I brought my dead Sony VAIO laptop in, his first comment was: "You've got to treat them gently. They're fragile." Nick always gets the work done in a very timely manner and is an absolutely excellent computer technician. His rates are extraordinarily reasonable. I will not take my computer to another technician while Nick is available. He's really, really wonderful. =)
