Bradenton Yacht Club

Since its establishment in 1946, the success of the Bradenton Yacht Club is a direct result of the dedication and caring of our Members and Founding Fathers. We are truly one of the friendliest clubs you will visit, and our volunteer members and staff work hard every day, so we can enjoy our very special place.

BYC originally met at the Memorial Pier building in the city of Bradenton. By 1960, membership had increased to 63, and BYC rented a building on a small basin west of the Desoto Bridge to accommodate that growth. A few years later, BYC decided to look elsewhere for a home of its own. In 1966, a suitable property was located on the north side of the Manatee River.

The Bradenton Yacht Club offers elegant as well as casual dining in its spacious formal dining room and adjacent Burgee Room. There is a full bar that overlooks the scenic Manatee River. There are also an additional Palm Room, River Room and Commodores Room that are perfect for meetings or small parties.

From the North - take I-275 south over the skyway bridge to U.S. 41. Take exit #2 then south on Business 41 to Palmetto. Turn west at Tenth Street (Snead Island Rd), about 3 miles to the humpback bridge. Our Club is immediately on the left. From the South - take I-75 and exit on U.S. 301 at exit # 224.
