Here at Buckeye Veterinary Clinic, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Akron. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
When you arrive at Buckeye Veterinary Clinic, please park in the front of our lot and enter through the blue grey doors. Please note the parking space on the north side of our lot is for handicapped access. If you need assistance in to the building please let us know when scheduling your appointment and we will have a staff member greet you and help you into our clinic.

In order to provide the best possible animal care, we require that all professional fees are due at the time services are rendered.
We offer a full range of dog and cat care services, from the very beginning with puppy and kitten care, to routine wellness exams, to parasite prevention and control and even senior care for your aging pet, Buckeye Veterinary Clinic is happy to get to know you and your pet and serve all of your pet care needs.

Where do I begin, I truly cannot sing their praises enough. Everyone in the office has been amazing, I know I'm omitting names and I'm sorry but Kait, Liv, and Sam have been angels. Dr Faulkner has truly taken care of all of our babies and most recently our old girl who had a bout of cancer. They're so accommodating and kind and helpful taking the time to address any concerns and help our baby in any way they can. So grateful we were able to find such a great veterinarian and clinic staff. Even just cute little extras to make us smile and feel more at ease with the entire process

We love Buckeye and so does Charleston. He gets so excited to go to the vet and it makes me feel amazing to know my dog is getting the best care. He was recently attacked at a dog park and they were there for us, even called to check in to schedule his follow ups. Best vet around!

I'd been going to a nearby veterinary hospital in South Akron for many years because of their alleged bargain prices and multi-generational years of experience.
When my 12+ year old doggo stopped eating, and no appointments were available, I was forced out of my mediocre comfort zone into trying to find another urgent care vet.
This is now the only place I will ever go. I didn't realize how UN-compassionate, un-bargain, and unsanitary the former vet was until I came here on one of the saddest days of my life. The facility is quaint, clean, and just has that cozy feeling.

I chose Buckeye Vet from Yelp reviews, and it was a great decision! My cat is super chill every time we go and always loves getting attention from the vet techs. I was able to get all of his kitten shots easily, and they took the time to answer all my dumb first time cat owner questions. Also super easy to get to from pretty much anywhere so I don't have to hear cat crying for more than 15 minutes one way.

Every time I take my dogs to Buckeye Veterinary Clinic I always feel like they're in the best care. I never feel rushed through appointments or the staff is bothered when I ask questions. The staff is very knowledgeable and comforting. I drive 30 minutes to Buckeye because the staff always impresses me with their compassion and care. Somethings are a little more expensive to have done at Buckeye, but I don't believe they hike up the prices to make a dollar of the costumers. I took my cat here after not being to the vet in 6 years (shame on me). I appreciated that they didn't make me feel bad or guilty about this because I was already feeling guilty about it from myself. Very friendly, gave me lots of good information including what to keep an eye out for as my cat gets older and they were happy to answer questions I had. Cat wasn't happy to be there but he wasn't "scarred" by the experience, as soon as we were home he was acting just as he normally would (which wasn't the case when he was younger). I had only started with them during the last year of my dogs life due to convenient location but wish I had done it several years ago.
