The year was 1913. Mr. H.B. Wilkinson from Concord, NC came to the newly organized unincorporated town of Kannapolis, just 4 miles north, to open a furniture store. At this time in our history, a persons' family handled all of the burial arrangements; therefore a place to purchase caskets was needed.

These people are great. Two years ago Wilkinson took care of all the details for my sons funeral , as well as his cremation. We have my sons ashes in a nice wooden box. We wanted to access the ashes to share some with relatives. I called and talked to Mr. Wilkinson and he immediately offered to access the ashes for us ,but he would be glad to explain to me how to get into the box.
Two years after my sons service, they are still more than willing to help with anything you may need. Now that’s good old fashioned customer service.

My family and I received outstanding service and car from Wilkinson’s. Both Hileg and Rina were unbelievable in making what is a painful process smooth and easy for our family. This group of Caring human beings has forever touched my heart! I love each and everyone that is a part of Wilkerson Funeral Home. Jay stood by my family as well as myself when I needed it the most after losing my precious Mama. He as well as Rina, Helig, Rusty, Chris, Ray, and Candace have became more like Family other than just a business/service to me over these last few years. Losing Mom and Daddy has been hard but this group went over and beyond the expectations of taking care of my loved ones being laid to Rest. Every detail being tended to in a fashion that was way more than anyone could

The director that assisted me with my father’s services was very compassionate and caring. She was even worried what was going to happen with my dad‘s best friend, his dog. My father had to make some downgrades to his services last year which they did very understandingly and refunded some of the funds without question or pressure. I would highly recommend this funeral home.
