I bought a 2009 Mini with 195,000 + miles. I understand there would be some mechanical issues, but when I took it to a Mini Dealer they had over $10,000 in recommended repairs. When I called and spoke to them and the owner basically said the Mini mechanics were just up charging me. The Mini dealer has records the business took the car to them twice before, but ignored the recommended repairs and then sold the car to me knowing these issues. When I asked the owner if he had taken the car to Mini, he lied to me and said it never happened. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I talked with Scott regarding an issue I have with my Ford. He pulled a code and said I need to "fix" a Fuel Tank Pressure (valve or sensor) problem, which is causing the Check Engine light to show.
I did not have a clue about what to do and now have an appointment scheduled to fix the problem. He was courteous, helpful, and thorough, which is what I had already heard about D&J's.

I had my car towed here because I heard that they were the best repair shop in Olathe by the tow company. Once my vehicle was dropped off, they let me know that they would diagnose it and give me a call by the evening. Never got a call I called back the next day still didn’t look at my vehicle, they kept telling me they would have someone call me. I went up there that afternoon because of still no call or anything, they let me know that it was gonna be the next car looked at . I then left and got a call later that day letting me know that something in my transmission is off the chain and I need

I will be honest, it took a little convincing from my bride to use them (which she started using them a few years before), only because I have always done my own repairs to all of my vehicles in the past. However when we were married in 08' she convinced me to stop wasting my time and to try out her mechanic!
Since then, I would never use anyone else!
For they have always been fair and have done a great job with all of my repairs and maintenance work! I see the value of using them. It saves me the time, at a fair cost. Knowing that they will do the correct

Guys, this shop is awesome! I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. Brought my car in at 8am this morning (there were several things going on with it) and it is now 2:45pm and I just got back from picking my car up. They are honest, affordable (even though the repairs I had to make were a little costly all at one time), professional, went above and beyond to explain the reason for each thing they did, and they extremely nice. Highly recommend this auto shop!

They overcharged me for some work, and diagnosed front differential replacement. Since this was the 2nd time in 2 years, I got a second opinion. The differential was leaking, but just from the seal - from the screw-driver-shaped hole in the seal. Replacing the seal was all it needed too! I saved $2-3 by not believing them. Wish i had known the first time.

I’ve been using D &Js for about 13 years. Not a chance I would go anywhere else, ever. Integrity is high and job quality is spot on! Prices are in line with quality of work and customer service. I had reservations on finding a shop to install a new engine in my dodge ram truck since dodge has a known defect that was not oil related .I decided to try D&J for the job. I let them know I was very picky about details and I do not want to see signs that I even had an engine replacement and did they meet all my expectations!! I now have a new engine with a warranty and absolutely would recommend this shop for engine replacement. Job done right!! Thanks to all the staff at D&J and a big thanks to the excellent mechanics. Most importantly this shop uses Mobil 1 which is the best oil money can buy

I took my car in to have all 4 wheels balanced, as I had picked up a slight vibration over the winter. My car was brought in immediately, and Scott went to work right away. Due to the Corona virus epidemic, they wiped down all touched surfaces, and wore gloves. The service was fast, convenient, and most of all, my car is smooth as glass on the highway again. I would highly recommend them, and especially service wizard, Scott Dunn!

Only reason why they even get one star is so that I can communicate how crappy of an experience this place was. We went in to get exterior door handles fixed. What we got were exterior door handles fixed and interior door handles broken. They suspiciously called to let us know that the driver-side interior handle was broken before (snapped fasteners). They didn't offer to fix it at any cost. Kind of weird for a body shop who makes money off ordering parts and charging for labor as a business model, right? Prior broken fasteners would've been believable had it not been dangling by the

We've taken both our vehicles in to D & J's Automotive about half a dozen times now, both for routine maintenance and problems that needed addressing, and our experience so far has probably been the best of any auto mechanic we've used before. They're honest, efficient, good communicators, very friendly, and don't try to push things on you that you can't afford if they can wait. I run a mobile business and need my vehicle in top working order and for repairs to be done properly and quickly. So far, they've excelled at doing this. I highly recommend them.

I had a mechanical problem with my Dodge van no one could figure it out finally went to D&J automotive and to my utter amazement and happiness pure satisfaction they figured out what the problem was it was a vacuum leak unfortunately nobody else in town could do it so will I ever go back to D&J Automotive absolutely I love the personnel there I love the owners and I love the team that works on the vehicle's everybody is top-notch . 2002 D & J Automotive thank you Dave and Jules you guys are the greatest
