We came for my husband's birthday dinner. I read a bunch of reviews and we are now fans. We shared the mezza plate and the chicken potato salad and split the chicken and beef kabob plate.
Tianna waited on us and gave us great suggestions and was super friendly while still keeping other diners happy.
The chicken was so tender and the beef cooked perfectly. The dolmas were creamy and a little tangy. Then the falafel! It was the best I'd ever had.
Things are cooked to order so the drive through menu is slightly different than the dine in menu. I recommend dining in first to taste

Fantastic food and service! Came here with my bestie, mom, and son to eat before doing Christmas lights, and we were not disappointed. All the food was fresh and hot out of the oven. The house made salad dressing and croutons were yummy. Chicken and gyro meat was tender and deliciously seasoned. We don't live close, but we'll definitely be back next year when we come back to look at Christmas lights!

Wasnt't good. The fan is CAKED w dirt and dust right above our heads. We had several people use braums restroom next door after someone from our party described how unclean theirs was.
We had a party of 6... falafel burnt ( black) gyro meat tasted like breakfast sausage and babaganush was old bubbly. Their taziki sauce was very good though. I dont understand the good reviews, i think they went downhill and are recycling food. Everyone who had ice tea had floaties in it. We went during what should have been rush hour and were the only ones, i dont see how they can make fresh daily when there

Went here for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint! This is authentic Mediterranean food! We had the freshest Tabbouleh and dolmas as an appetizer. So amazing! The lamb shank and garlic chicken kabob was out of this world! So tender! Also, it being a BYOB restaurant is a great plus. Our waitress Tianna was incredible and very attentive. The owner Ali also came by to make sure everything was to our liking. Will definitely be back on a regular basis!

As a person who is particular in food,in services in atmospheres I have gone to this restaurant regularly for 3 years
The economy down turn by the Pandemic effects many restaurants to maintain qualities but not this place
I have been eating here until we become friends with Ali Farhardy the owner and the Chef and all crews
Eating delicious foods in a friendly relaxing restaurant
that I can ask for what I want to eat is not easy to find!!
And I hope and prayers for him to be able to sustain the economic slow down
and be my happy little lunch corner forever♥️♥️♥️

I came to the Mediterranean grill & absolutely loved it the employees were great ,the restroom was in great condition , food amazing & the employee ( Peyton Browning) was extremely helpful , cheerful & has great customer services & the cook( Ali) was wonderful. It was my first time & I absolutely will be back

We ate the Pastitilo , was super delicious. The bread was hat came out with the babaganoush was outstanding.
Then an hour later when I got home I thought I had left my wallet there. They checked their facilities and even walked the parking lot. Turns out it was wedged in my car. I thanked them profusely.

So many great reviews, so many customers inside and I'm stumped on why. I must have ordered all the wrong things but this dining experience was terrible. The single waitress running the drive thru, yes drive thru, and serving the tables was way over tasked, as I experienced with her forgetting to put in my food order (other two guest at my table received theirs) and mixing up the words rice and fries, (despite the menu listing rice -she adds in what she thinks you said). The menu also has a typo/ mixup on two dishes but they don't bother to fix the menu. We found our dishes, the Gyro

We loved this place. The beef souvlaki we ordered were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. This was the first place I've been where a steak did not disappoint me. The hummus was tasty, as was the gyro, dolmeh, and falafel. We loved everything we ordered, including the baklava I ordered to go. We have plans to return when we are in the area again.

We came on a Wednesday around 6:00 and it was not busy at all. I was a little concerned. Is this the place that has such great reviews?
The owner (I am pretty sure) came out and greeted us and served us. He was very friendly and helpful. The food that came out was absolutely delicious! I had the Caesar salad with the most tender juicy flame boiled chicken that was perfectly seasoned. It was incredible and I will definitely try more of their meats in the future. My wife had the lentil soup which she said was the best we have had. By the time we left more people were coming in. Definitely a gem

Coming to Olives is like sitting down for a family meal.
I always start with the Feta and Olives appetizer. It is so nice on a hot day. The menu has changed. I like the changed menu. The platter is still enough to carry some food home.
You can bring in your own Adult beverages. We normally go and relax here for a bit. Service is fantastic! Food is good. Cold food is cold....hot food is hot. Pita and Hummus are amazingly fresh.
There is a drive through window now. I have not used it. But, I think it is a great option in this day.

I love Greek food and this did not disappoint. The photos are very accurate as far as plating and presentation. I had the Salmon paired with rice and a Greek salad. Also a large order of stuffed grape leaves. I was very pleased with the taste. The smoky flavor of the rice was a awesome combination with the perfectly seared salmon. The service very prompt and courteous. Highly recommended😁👍🏾

First things first, this place is a little odd looking- like a house retrofitted with a drive though window. Get past that because the food is solid.
Hummus here is fresh and really well done with a bright lemon tang that's just right.
Salads are reliably fresh and crisp.
Gyro is cut thick, which may not be to everyone's liking, but it's done really well.
The menu is modest but everything we've tried has been a winner.
Price wise they are on the higher side for Greek food but the freshness of their ingredients is worth it.
Hummus here is fresh and really well done with a bright lemon tang that's just right.

We were elated to hear today that Olives had reopened after making necessary repairs caused by damage from our recent "snowmaggedon". This is our favorite local spot for a quiet dinner. BYOB is a plus! This was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday, made complete by the complimentary baklava! Thank you Ali!!

Upgraded this review based on our last order. Had two of the gyro platters (both came with salad), an order of baba ghanouj (sadly missing from the order but refunded by the delivery company) and some freaking AMAZING patitisio - some amazing pasta (likely pene) with some amazing sauce - didn't really find a hint of bechamel sauce nor with sautéed veggies but it was epically good. Reheated well, not a super generous portion but certainly enough for one. Price point on this was a bit much $17 but was well worth a go.

I've been to this restaurant a zillion times and have missed it so much since we're sheltering in place. Lucky for me (and all of us), Olives is still doing delivery and takeout so I've been able to enjoy their food at home. Our first time to Arlington, in town for the Cowboys game, and my wife and I were in the mood for some good Greek food. She is Greek, and it's my favorite food, so we took a chance on Olives based on their great reviews on Yelp.
It is, by far the absolute BEST Greek food we've ever had. We have eaten in many Greek restaurants, so that recommendation doesn't come easily.
The place is very nicely decorated inside. The chef/owner greeted us, and the lovely Bebe was our gracious server. Everything she recommended was phenomenal and service was the best.

From the number of stars given to Olives Mediterranean Grill, I had high hopes for some refreshing Mediterranean food on a hot July day. The restaurant itself was empty at 2 on a Saturday afternoon so we could clearly see all of its charm. Unusual in design with stained glass and retro lighting, it had a long skinny interior and tall sloped ceilings. Sage green walls gave it an actual "olive green" look.
My first challenge was finding a comfortable place to sit. The cute booths had back breaking boards to lean up against and a number of the very comfortable chairs at tables were in line

I can't say enough about how much I love dining at Olives. I don't stop in at the restaurant enough and must make a point of stopping in more frequently. My sister was in town for a doctor's visit and I tagged along with her for moral support.
