At California Pain Center, our goal is to expertly diagnose and treat chronic pain conditions to decrease pain symptoms and improve day-to-day function. Each patient has unique circumstances and we tailor treatments individually.

The best outcomes are achieved when multiple therapies are utilized such as minimally-invasive injections, regenerative biologics, implantable devices, physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, exercise, acupuncture, medications, and psychological support.PRP injections are an advanced form of biologic therapy that uses your own concentrated platelets and growth factors to stimulate tissue healing and regeneration.

There are seven vertebrae in your neck that make up the cervical spine. In between the bony vertebrae are sponge-like discs, which act as shock absorbers. There are also joints, called facet joints, between each vertebra. The discs and facet joints are subject to damage from arthritis, whiplash, sports injuries, overuse, and work-related accidents.
For patients suffering from pain in their cervical (neck) area, cervical facet joint injections or medial branch blocks can diagnose and decrease your chronic pain. Facets joints are small joints between each of your spinal vertebrae. These joints have small nerves, called medial branch nerves, which send pain signals due to inflammation.
The cervical (neck) spine contains nerves responsible for sensation and movement in your arms, hands, and fingers. When nerves in your cervical spine become inflamed, cervical radiculopathy can occur. Cervical radiculopathy can cause pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling in the neck, upper back, and arms.
Back pain is one of the most common types of chronic pain in the United States. About 80 percent of American adults experience low back pain at some point in their lifetime and back pain is the top cause of disability in the US[1]. Back pain can be caused by accident, injury, arthritis, osteoporosis, soft tissue strain, or nerve compression.
Chronic hip pain is a common issue, especially for older individuals. However, anyone can suffer from chronic hip pain due to several types of arthritis, injuries, and bone diseases. Dr. Yun, an interventional pain specialist, can diagnose the hip pain source and treat chronic hip pain with minimally-invasive injections.

After a motorcycle accident in 2019 I became a patient. Right from the start Dr. Yun was observant and professional. A blood clot and Covid delayed my treatment but having gone through the Lumbar Epidural three times now I am experiencing real relief. His office staff is attentive, friendly and communicate quickly. The surgery center is incredible. Although I would prefer to never have had the accident I am very grateful to be in Dr. Yun's care.
