On Saturday we performed David Nixon OBE's Dangerous Liaisons, the final time we will perform one of his ballets whilst he is Artistic Director. Our spring 2022 tour will see us revive two of our most popular ballets, Casanova and The Great Gatsby, and see children's ballet Pinocchio embark on a national tour.

We aim to reach as many different people and places as possible with our passionate storytelling, mastery of classical dance technique and live music. We believe in the power to change lives through dance and are committed to engaging with people from all different sectors of the community.

On stage and on screen, Northern Ballet's mission is to bring world-class ballet to as wide an audience as possible. We aim to make our performances accessible to as many people as possible through Audio Description, Touch Tours, Relaxed Performances and more.
As well as touring our ballets to children to theatres up and down the country, they are also regularly available to watch in cinemas across the world. An original retelling of the classic children's story, Pinocchio is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre.
In whichever way you engage with Northern Ballet, we aim to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. Thank you for a wonderful evening of dance and music. I read the novel many years ago, saw the film with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow and when I saw you were performing this I did wonder what it would be like. The emotions shown by the dancers, their interpretation of the music and the costumes were just amazing.
I have been to many of your ballets and I always wonder what you will bring to us the next year but as always your wonderful company and musicians never fail

We're pretty much spoiled for choice in Leeds for hot rocking, culture infused and visually stunning settings. Aren't we lucky? Well we're even luckier to have yet another cultural high in the form of the Northern Ballet Theatre.
