The name “Alpine Inn” evokes images of a quaint cottage like Inn nestled in a beautiful mountain valley…but it’s not...even…close to that. The Alpine Inn is located in a mangled up, under construction, parking lot directly next to Hwy 160. The room was clean but that’s where the charm ends. The person at the front desk who greeted us at check-in was despondent at best and certainly had Zero of the friendliness we’d experienced in nearly every other corner of Colorado and the southwest in general. The room had two twin beds with both of them being soft, lumpy, extremely uncomfortable

The Alpine Inn is a great place to stay. The owners keep it so clean. The price is very reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. It's nice to find a place where someone takes pride in their own business. They provide a clean, safe place for travelers. They also provide a quick breakfast and coffee each morning. Fresh fruit is offered all day. We stayed 3 nights. Most of our time was spent out fishing, at the hot springs, shopping & enjoying the the area but at night we found everything we needed at the Alpine Inn.

Sofia was extremely helpful in setting my team up while on a work road trip from Albuquerque. She even upgraded another guest so we could have a room with two beds! She gave us great attention, was so helpful, and had great restaurant recommendations. Would stay here again. Hospitality like the old days!

This Motel is a Diamond in the rough! Pagosa is a nice town. We were just passing through. We received a very nice room at a very good price! Hands down the best Motel we've stayed at. The rooms are superbly clean, smell good and very cozy! After a long haul, you will NOT be disappointed with this Motel! The staff we met was very nice as well. Thank you for your hospitality!
