In April of 1953, four fraternity brothers from the University of Washington formed Pacific Wood Products doing business as Plywood Supply. Ralph Swanson, one of the four fraternity brothers, became the manager and arranged to have a 4,000sf building built at 115th and Lake City Way. In 1955, property was acquired in Kenmore which was then serviced by Burlington Northern railroad.
Plywood Supply is a proud member of MBA's Built Green of King and Snohomish County since its inception. Plywood Supply carries a variety of products that are environmentally-friendly. When used properly, these materials can also provide points needed for the Built Green building program.

Easily the best place around for home building lumber. From the people working behind desks, to the lumber yard lift drivers, to the big truck drivers who deliver to all the jobsites around the area. Most professional and courteous staff members. I could write all day about how this place deserves 5 stars but I'll just leave it at that.

Phoned to open account for 2 home builds and deck lumber//called 3 times before someone picked up-Salesperson Brian Williams advised me they could not sell lumber to me w/o GC license (which I have contemplated getting)/asked BW for pricing for 2x6x12 tx lumber deck board for comparison which will help me decide if getting license (or GC rep) was worth doing-BW refused-telling me I had other bids from other companies-I persisted-BW elevated price to above retail (quoting me "$18.00" compared to Dunn $15.36, Chinook $13.62 and Parr $12.98). Fed up I requested another salesperson- BW refused to transfer
