Staff isn't super friendly. They just want to make the sale and want you to leave, at least that is how I felt. I have left my number with the company to give me a call back when they are free to talk about my lumber order. Twice! They never called back, so decided to go my local lumber store instead.

These people are fantastic. Gave us everything we asked for. Never have I had a bad experience there. They also were extremely fast and efficient. Would recommend them highly.

It may feel like a store walking in but once inside they treat you like family. If you're a regular they call you by name. I've never known them to be over the top with their appreciation of your business but they definitely let you know your business matters to them. They act as one cohesive unit knowledgeable of their products and they go out of the way to ensure that the customer is always satisfied. They don't have products they don't believe in and they back up each and every purchase with a guarantee or replacement or money back policy that goes unspoken and I haven't read in anywhere. With

Seriously, the best service around. I'm 7 months pregnant and have been in the store several times in the last couple weeks, getting supplies for our renovation. They always treat me with total respect, and load my car for me. They also delivered (for free) several long 16' pieces that wouldn't fit in my van.

This past weekend, on Saturday (of a long weekend) I realized we needed some more trim boards. I called them at closing time (3pm) and explained the situation. They said to just knock on the door when I got there, after they closed. They quickly loaded my van with what

I bought stud grade 2x4's, at a higher price than Dunn Lumber. One out of 10 was acceptable quality. I have never seen such poor grade lumber before, and at a premium price. Disgusting. Do NOT buy lumber from them, go to Dunn who sells MUCH better product. On a good note: The people, at this store were super nice.

I needed to make a few elevated garden beds for my balcony. I called the store and they were very helpful with recommending the type of wood I would need. The material was pretty affordable.... cheaper than other lumber stores. They even cut the wood and when I came to pick up they left it outside so I didn't have to go inside the store. I'm glad that I called and will come back here again for other projects.

Come here now and then for the odd lock, screws and what not. Last visit all I needed were some metric screws for hanging my TV on the wall bracket - and only four of them together with a few washers. When the clerk at the counter saw what I had picked out he sold it all to me for $1.00 - can't beat that anywhere!! Will always try Limback first before I go to any of the big box stores!

My husband bought two pieces of plywood at another lumber store in Ballard and when I took them there today to be cut down (the size wasn't right) they said they didn't do it there. I went to Limback Lumber and even though I didn't buy the plywood there, they were more than happy to cut it for me. Marcus unloaded it from my car, cut it in less than a minute and then loaded it back in my car and wouldn't take any money for doing it. He said to just have a "really nice day." I'm a DIYer who is starting to outgrow the bix box stores, and I'm really glad I found Limback. I was looking for LVL beams all over town - some places offered to order them for me, but Limback was the only one who had them in stock. For somebody like me who is just starting to venture out from the consumer stores to the lumber yards, it can be a bit intimidating, since it's not like you can just walk around looking at everything while looking it up on your phone - you need to know what you need. Once you figure out your list though, these guys will hook you up.

Im a small carpentry co. and I need lumber to be Quality at a good price...this is not what i get here..every time I send my guy down there to pick up lumber i swear they give him the worst crap they have. Ok a little bend in my ACX ok but warped both ways is garbage(i can go to home depot and get crap) ..ill give my money to someone else from now on.

Limback Lumber is a great lumber yard. I often had to pick up wood wedges here for work and everyone was always friendly and processed my order quickly. An employee would always help carry the stacks of wood out to my car and put them into my trunk for me.

We have since found someone who donates the wood wedges to us for free, so I haven't been back in about six months, but I would definitely return here if I needed any other sorts of wood products.
