The Local, Naples' first farm and sea-to-table restaurant, celebrates the intersection of local farmers, ranchers, sea mongers, artisans and brewers: fresh, local ingredients. Created by Owner and award-winning Executive Chef Jeff Mitchell, The Local offers simple, delicious and nourishing dishes, prepared with healthy cooking techniques and locally sourced ingredients.

With a casual ambiance, cozy wine bar and daily rotating blackboard specials, we welcome you to enjoy our local eatery showcasing Florida's freshest bounty. We connect our guests with the farms, the fields and the sea. The beauty of Florida's natural simplicity and its abundant bounty - meats, fish, vegetables, fruits and more.

Founded by Owner and Naples veteran Executive Chef Jeff Mitchell, a classically trained chef and wine expert with 20 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry, The Local was inspired by Florida's abundant local bounty and long growing season. Chef Jeff works closely with local ranchers, farmers, sea mongers, and artisans to source products with integrity, flavor and soul.
To kick off the new year, we are introducing a NEW SunsetMenu for early diners for only $25! This delicious farm & sea to table, 3-Course Meal features a soup, salad and a selection of some of our most popular dinner entrees! Kick off your Saturdays and Sundays with our farm-to-table Brunch, and Bottomless Bubbly Mimosas for only $15.

We met here for a work function, and came in as a group. The food here is “okay,” and the prices caught me by surprise. Portions were rather small, and food was overall salty. The main salad (pear and Brie I believe) was basically served on an appetizer-sized slate/plate. The side salad was incredibly tiny. I did enjoy the vegan chia seed pudding, I would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and knowledgeable staff. In our party we had vegans, vegan/gluten free, and Omni’s. There were various options for all of us and they were incredibly accommodating. The food looked and tasted delicious!

Food was pretty good. Though it wasn't my favorite. Everything is pretty fancy and sometimes I just feel like something more simple. I also wish they had a full bar. Though, there were some good vegan and gluten free options there. So if that's you, then it could be a good place.

Overpriced!
Food is OK, tastes OK but the portions are small and Overpriced.
The waitress mentioned one price for one of the specials but they charged more.
We paid $30 for a super small Salmon with 7 pieces of potatoes (less than a quarter size).
Definitely not even close to be sufficient for an adult or even a kid.
Service was OK and the presentation is nice.

Excellent local sourced restaurant with fresh ideas and clean food.
A must try if you are looking for a different experience.
Most items are either house made, local, farm to table, organic.
I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.
Service is great and the price is fair.

If you’re thinking about going… stop and choose this restaurant! I have been to a lot of places all over but, this is my very favorite by far!!! The food is so fresh, natural, such unique ideas, family friendly, many choices… just to name a few. It’s a small local business and it buys from all local farmers! The staff is so friendly! Don’t skip the dessert! They are all spectacular! Pies, ricotta beignets, homemade ice cream… it’s all so wonderful! Support local while having the best meal of your life! You won’t be disappointed

Incredible food! They have the BEST bruschetta I have ever had! I can't stop craving it now. They also had a great selection of vegan options so I will be back for more so that I can try them all. I highly recommend The Local. This restaurant will definitely be a place I bring my friends/family whenever they come to visit.

Food was good but definitely pricey for lunch. We ordered the cobb salad (worth it) but the Kale salad and the $8 shrimp for 5 pieces is too much. Our lunch was about $60, tip included. That's pricey for 2 soups and 2 salads, just a lunch meal.

Incredible meal start to finish. Fresh tomato Bruscetta style appetizer with house made almond cheese light and refreshing. U 10 Scallop special with Manchego fried polenta house spiced bacon shaved Brussels extremely well balanced flavor profile that enhanced the natural sweetness of the scallops. Thank you for the passion. You bring to your craft Chef. Service was just as exceptional as the meal. Very knowledgeable able to make informed recommendations. Will be back next time in town.
