My wife's Alzheimer's started to get a little bit worse this year and I am in very poor health myself so we needed some help. We turned two Lakewood Park Manor in Los Angels and it has been just the best retirement home we could've asked for. They take care of us in ways that we could't do for ourselves and we still get to be together for what little time we have left here.

After my mother died my father was all alone and he refused to let us take him in because he thought he would be a burden on us. We thought him forever but he came to us and told us he wanted to go to a retirement home and he even picked out Lakewood Park Manor himself. We really didn't have a choice in the matter but as usual he was right. This facility is wonderful and every time we visit he smiling from ear to ear.

We put my mother in this excellent retirement home in Los Angeles this year and we have been very impressed with the results. Simply put Lakewood Park Manor understands how to treat the elderly with respect and care while still giving them an exciting quality of life that they just can’t get elsewhere. If we could take care of her properly on our own we would but it’s just not an option for us right now so we’re happy that she’s in good hands.

After meeting with managers at several assisted living facilities in the area, we decided on Lakewood Park Manor for my father. The manager was very open to showing us the complete facility without apparently hiding things like some of the other facilities. Since we admitted my father he has been doing well and is always in good spirits.
