Services
Our goal is to treat our patients in a way that we would want to be treated through compassion, honesty and understanding. This begins with constructing relationships molded in trust. Our staff will provide the tools, education, and instruction to help patients foster positive habits for optimum oral health.
Great oral health starts by scheduling an appointment. Based on this initial exam, Dr. McHan will create your customized dental treatment plan, which will be a guide for you and our dental team going forward in order to give you a healthy mouth. A review of your medical history. Tell us about your diet or medications as these may impact your treatment and oral health.
Bad breath (halitosis) can cause embarrassment, create social and psychological barriers, and even affect relationships. Bad breath that is of oral cavity origin can be traced to a sulfur compound produced by bacteria. Dead and dying bacterial cells release this sulfur compound which gives the breath an unpleasant odor.
Dental plaque is a build up of bacteria and consistent oral hygiene practices-brushing twice and flossing daily-can help you control and mitigate against plaque. Regular visits to your dentist will also assist you in your own personal war against plaque and its harmful impact on your oral and systemic health.
