Toto Too Productions
Producing plays by women playwrights has been And Toto too's mission for the last 15 years, making us the longest running company in Denver to focus entirely on the woman playwright. Currently there is no mask mandate, so we will allow patrons and guests who are fully vaccinated to attend a theater production without a face mask or face shield. We will not require, proof of vaccination, except where required by law, but we ask for patrons' and guests' responsible and respectful cooperation with this policy.

And Toto too believes in the power of the woman's voice. Women's lives are rich with experience that goes beyond body image struggles, raising children and romantic relationships. We raise strong boys and girls, fight for our countries, protect our cities, survive crises; we make difficult decisions, commit crimes, make mistakes and sometimes don't realize the very things we strive to achieve.
It's 2014 and Max, an injured former war reporter, shows up unexpectedly at the coastal Florida home of his semi-estranged ex-wife and teenage daughter. It feels like terrible timing. Or is it? A lonely dolphin, a boy named Elvis and the search for algebraic solutions round out this moving, funny tale of a fractured family struggling to connect.
We recognize that the land on which we reside is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples, and also recognize the 48 contemporary tribal nations that are historically tied to the lands that make up the state of Colorado.

We recognize that Indigenous people have been displaced from their homelands and that U.S. public policy has been used to displace Indigenous communities, erode Tribal Nation sovereignty, and forcibly assimilate Native individuals into U.S. society.
In the backroom of a bar four ex-military women face the realities of reintegrating into society. Tensions rise as their military experiences clash with their friends, families, each other, and their new civilian life. We are thrilled to now bring this world premiere play to the stage with the help of our producing partners Denver Arts & Venues, and Syncopated Production Group.
The Way Station is the story of three strangers from different places and times, each pulled out of their travels and dropped off at a mysterious way station. At this surreal crossroads, no excuse, lie, or self-delusion holds up to scrutiny, and each person must find the strength to face his or her own dark secret, only then may they move on.
