The Healow App lacks many features that are available through the web portal. Unfortunately, you may receive emails telling you to download the app which we are unfortunately unable to stop. Once you become "Web Enabled", typically after your first appointment is scheduled, you will receive this welcome email from Eviva.
Getting to surgery depends on many different factors including the procedure type, your insurance, your health, and appointment availability. For example, the timeline for a self pay ESG is typically much shorter than an insurance gastric bypass. The below timeline is intended to be a general overview of items that you may encounter on your journey.

I tell everyone (friends, family, random strangers) about my success so far with Eviva. I gained 80 pounds with my last pregnancy (don't judge), and I have been struggling for over a year to drop the remaining ten pounds. After one month of working with the Eviva doctor, I am back at my pre-pregnancy weight. My goal weight is another 15 or so pounds away, but I'm confident I can make it happen. The doctors here perform a service and have the expertise that my regular GP doesn't provide/have. I definitely recommend them!

I followed a weight loss page for years and decided in 2020 to have WLS. I read positive reviews about Eviva and the surgeon. I had gastric sleeve surgery in November 2020. Dr Landerholm is a very skilled surgeon. I felt comfortable the whole time, even going alone for the surgery. I have been a textbook patient, everything has been perfect. Everyone is different but Eviva is there to support you from the beginning and throughout this journey. I have successfully stopped prediabetes in it's tracks. I would rate Eviva 5 stars and highly recommend Dr Landerholm. He is a wonderful surgeon and person

I cannot recommend Eviva enough. Everyone is incredibly kind and professional. From the first contact, each person I have worked with has been respectful of me in every possible way. We ran into a couple of glitches using video appointments and even those were met with humor and were quickly corrected.

Eviva and Dr. Vanderwel's entire medical staff were beyond amazing through this entire 11 month journey. I always felt safe asking questions, hitting bumps in the road, and going into surgery. Eviva has been really amazing during the entire process for my surgery. From the moment that I called to start to talk about my options to the moment I walked into the operating room, everyone has gone out of their way to make sure that I understand everything that is going on and answering any questions that I may have. I really liked the pre-surgery care it was great they were very encourage. The three star reviews is for the immediate post surgery care. My surgeon had put in a drain which he told me about advance no problem there. the paperwork said that they would contact me in 5 to 7 days to take it out they never did I had to call six times on multiple days because my surgeon was out of the office to get an appointment to take the drain out. Then at my follow up appointment with the surgeon I asked a question about the diet and his answer was read the information we gave you and just do that.

One year post-op, and I'm still amazed with the progress. I'm down 150lbs, no longer using the CPAP machine, my strength is up, knees don't hurt, and I'm a lot more active! Dr. VanderWel has been amazing through this whole process-- with regular follow-ups and his continued support, I've maintained the motivation to continue losing the weight and keep moving. My only regret is not starting this journey 10 years ago.

Started my journey Nov 2019. Had sleeve and hernia surgery June 10. 2020 due to covid. Dr. Vanderwell was incredible. Staff front and in back continue to be very professional. Any questions I had that came up along this journey have been answered in timely manner. I can not recommend Dr Vanderwell and his team enough.
I am down 30lbs and still dropping. Even with covid and video appointments I feel well taken care of.

I can't recommend this place enough! I had surgery in late July of 2020. As of this review, I'm 3 months post surgery, down 40 pounds and the entire experience from curiosity to now has been virtually flawless. I know one of my initial concerns/questions was cost so I'll include that for the Laparoscopy process (specifically the procedure I had) you're looking at around $20k out of pocket. I started my process in the beginning of October. I ended up having surgery beginning of November. The staff and team were great. Everytime I called never seemed like a burden, always answered my questions/ concerns after surgery and were always able to help me schedule my appointments on my time! Allot better then the place I went in Everett. Complete opposite from there. Eviva was not pushy at all. They gave me as much time as I needed.

Life changing.
9 months in, 71lbs down, and a BMI from 37% to 20% body fat. Not easy by any means, and isn't the cure all. But if you want the tools to help you live a healthy lifestyle this is where you start.
Every step of the way the staff is behind you. I'm talking about the front office, back office, associate Dr's, nutritionists, medical assistants, you name it...they are all here to help you succeed.
If you follow the plan (and plan to actually change your lifestyle for more than a minute..(speaking from experience only) you can experience the same results.

I had hernia surgery done with Dr Landerholm. He did a great job. He is very polite and responsive. He explained how and what needs to be done. I highly recommend him to anybody.
I would give him and other doctors who participated in surgery 5 stars.
But I am taking 1 star off, because I felt that patient care from a nurse needs an improvement. My nurse was a somewhat careless. Also facility needs significant improvement. I was laying on a recliner chair right next to the exit door to the street, and to another door to reception hall, so nurses would go in and out, and I would feel the wind blowing

I wasn't a patient here, but I was with my friend who was there to see the bone doctor. We where in and out super fast and the doctor was the nicest guy I ever met. Took his time and explained what had happened in a way that was understandable instead of all the fancy medical words. I would most recommend to friends and family .

Best Doctors, Nurses, Credentialed/Certified Providers, Support Staff, Equipment and Facility around! I consider it among the top healthcare institutions in the entire world. With a comprehensive all encompassing health care approach Eviva simply does it all or will refer you to someone who can. If I had a serious problem I would definitely go to Eviva instead of a local place.
