Whittier Christian High School
We provide an environment where students can grow in their spiritual journey, develop genuine relationships, and prepare for a future of success. Whittier Christian High School is a Christ-centered academic community where students are taught, inspired and prepared to be critical thinkers and authentic Christians, equipping them to honor God through academic achievement, humble service and courageous leadership.

Our small classroom sizes, highly qualified teachers, and college advisors provide students with all the tools they need to succeed in academics. With 18 sports programs and history of League, CIF, and State Championships, students are coached to perform at their best on competitive teams. Through chapel services, classes and campus activities, a vibrant spiritual community compels students to pursue Jesus in every aspect of their lives.
Services
The best way to experience Whittier Christian High School is to visit our campus and meet our staff and students. Schedule a tour of WCHS today. At Whittier Christian High School we welcome and embrace cultural diversity, and we are thankful to God for the rich heritages represented by each family in our school.
We teach students to think critically, to seek truth rigorously, to understand the world from a biblical perspective, and to use their minds to honor God. Because there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all education, families at Whittier Christian High School are able choose one of three academic tracks according to each student's academic needs and future goals.
We recognize the value of cultivating the artistic abilities of our students. WCHS offers a number of outstanding opportunities to excel in both the visual and performing arts. Acting projects will provide positive groups experiences in collaborative assignments, developing self-discipline, evaluating the performances of others, and accepting constructive criticism.
We put great value on creating a vibrant community where students mature in faith, build Christ-honoring friendships, and develop leadership skills. Students and staff gather to worship God and study His Word in a weekly chapel service. Students are directly involved in leading worship, choosing talented chapel speakers and creating unique chapel events that allow WCHS to draw closer to each other as we grow closer to God.

Whittier Christian High School is not worth your time or money. They do not follow Christian standards such as respect and understanding. If you are college bound, this school is a waste. Worst experience with staff ever! No respect!

Went here for my senior year in high school and my fav experience! fortunate enough to meet kind accepting friends and had the best teachers! shoutout to Mrs. Klingenmeier (helped me get a 4 on my AP Lit exam) and Mr. Cordova (learned so much about statistics and had a great time doing so!) I would definitely send my kids here one day as I think they work hard to teach students from a Christian perspective

So not impressed. The decisions coming out of this school leave so much to be desired. There are so many other schools to use as examples on how to hold a graduation in this covid climate. But WCHS decided to go their own route and their decisions make zero sense. Every public school in the vicinity gave their graduating students at least 10 tix. These are public schools with huge amounts of students. WC is so small, under 150 graduates yet they are only giving the graduates 6 tickets!! And they are requiring these 6 people to stay in their "pods" during the entire ceremony. To top

I went to this high school, and I'm a graduate of the year 2009.

Here's some stuff that went down at this high school, that was somehow completely normal back in the day.

- The Photography teacher constantly put up computer slides of Obama being the anti-Christ, with complete conviction. He tried to convince the rest of the class too.

- I walked over to the bathroom because I got a text about my grandfather passing away soon from my cousin.

Mr. Schrock followed me to the bathroom, he then took away my phone and gave me detention, even after explaining to him that the texts

If you are considering this school for your child, you need to know that WCHS is run by MOSAIC church (not Eastside Church who merely rents their campus on Sunday mornings). If you ask they will deny it, but a disproportionally large number of the school's faculty and staff in key positions are connected to MOSAIC including the HR manager, Bible Teacher, Business Administrator, Chapel Director, Student Life Director, Yearbook Advisor, and others. Please do your research and make sure that you are comfortable with MOSAIC's teachings and belief statement as they will quietly parade their speakers

I'm so glad we chose WCHS. My daughter just finished her first year there after coming from a good public school in Cypress. Although the price is high, I feel it's worth every penny I have spent. We definitely have to sacrifice in other areas to be able to send her, but it is well worth it to me. I actually work for the public school district and every time I walk onto one of the schools, I'm glad I made my choice. As far as being challenged, my daughter was a straight A student (without trying) at a very good rated public school- she is taking all honors classes at WCHS and has

Fantastic school! We sent both of our children to WCHS. It was a wonderful experience. Our son is now a college graduate (he majored in Finance) and our daughter will graduate at the end of this school year. WCHS gave them both a fabulous foundation for the success they now have - academically, spiritually and for their future careers.
My wife and I recently met with Joel Nunnally who is the College Advisement Director at WCHS regarding a high school student we are working with. I have always thought I was pretty good at helping students prepare for college. Joel was amazing. He has this killer

I, too, feel their fees were way too steep. My daughter attended four years at WCHS & the tuition kept increasing, the books were hundreds of dollars EACH YEAR! They even charged a fee for the location where the seniors graduated!
I don't feel the teachers were that good. My daughter was never really challenged & often knew as much or more than the teachers.
Their volleyball program was a joke; mostly based upon favoritism towards the player and/or the parent of the player. So, as a sophomore, she was awarded the defensive player of the year. But as a Junior & Senior, barely got

This comment is not about the teachers, they are very good, it is about the cost of this school.

I realize they have to make SOME money, but the tuitions is $1190 a month ! And that does not include books, which are hundreds more, that's not counting sports which is hundreds more each sport, it is really about money, which it should NOT be about at a Christian School, Jesus died naked on the cross, they need to remember that, they are way to concerned with money. Just my 2 cents.

UPDATE : It cost about the same to go to Grand Canyon UNIVERSITY and thats with room and board !!!
