McCann's Medical & Mobility

Took my electric mobility scooter here for service to have the batteries replaced. Brent was great, got it in the day after I called and had it serviced and ready to go the same day I dropped it off. Would definitely recommend and return here for all my mobility equipment needs!

The lady working at the front desk wasn't very friendly for some reason when I went to return the scooter this afternoon.

McCann's Medical is awesome. The staff wears masks to protect clients.
The staff are very knowledgeable, facilitative, and concerned about what's the best product is for their clients with disabilities.
Somehow I had managed to assemble a brand new Nova walker incorrectly, whereby one of the legs was totally stuck and I brought it in to McCann's Medical to be serviced. After much effort, Rob was able to get the stuck leg out and assemble the walker properly.
McCann's Medical new location is larger, handicapped accessible, and has more medical supplies available than the old store.

This is a very late review. During the Summer and Fall of 2018 my father's health was failing fast. We bought lots of personal care supplies over the months and staff recommendations were very helpful. We rented a hospital bed, lifting chair and wheelchair on short notice and Mccann's delivered on time. Retuning everything went smoothly. I would give them 10 stars if possible.

I am so disappointed that - at the last minute - with very little warning, you have chosen to move all the pharmacy to Safeway across the street. Safeway has had a Covid employee, employees that do not obey the 'rules' for following the arrows and stating that since they work there they can do anything they want, and have employees that have not obeyed wearing a mask nor social distancing. I will NEVER get my prescriptions there and am VERY DISAPPOINTED that instead of notifying me, you chose to move 'everything' there! As an active customer of McCanns, I should have a choice and should have been

I'm sad to see this business change; it is a sign of the hard times we are all facing, and the rise of Amazon once again eating away at the family owned community establishments. Even so I am happy McCanns Medical is staying in business! McCanns lovely service and strive to help everyone will never change!!

We've shopped at McCann's for years. They always know the best solution for a problem/challenge. We needed a full electric bed asap for my dad, and were unfamiliar with what to do. They described the options, and delivered the same day! Now that's service! Thank you.

I'm mainly giving a review on the POST OFFICE, located in the back of this store. The store has a nice selection of your typical pharmacy and toiletries as well as a great card selection! I think it's a bit overpriced however.
But the ladies who work the Post Office are super kind and helpful; I drive out of my way to go here when I need to mail a package!

Was told by Newport Medical Supplies to call Mccann's for an item I wanted. I don't like sheets/blankets touching my feet. Mine broke when we moved.
When I called I spoke to Tom and explained what I wanted and he replied they have them and he sent a picture of it and when I said I wanted he took it right back and mailed it off and I received today.
Tom was very pleasant and helpful. Is going on bed today. Thanks so much for your help and time.

There isn't a better place to go for prescriptions and/or medical equipment. It's one of the only family-owned pharmacies around and their prices are every bit as good as other places (I compare prices). The staff there is amazing--couldn't be more helpful.

When I had knee surgery, they helped me get together everything I needed, including a walker and a cane. They "fit" me for the cane and showed me how to use it properly. You don't get that at Rite-Aid.

Friendly staff with great customer service.

They helped me get some fairly obscure therapy that most other pharmacies don't carry, plus they have a good selection of medical products (IV supplies, wound care, durable medical equipment [DME], crutches/canes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.).

I can see why they have a dedicated set of patients that look like they've been coming here for decades.

The only downside is it can be hard to reach a real person in the pharmacy by phone. I tried calling several times during business hours and it kept going to voicemail to leave a message.

5 stars for the front half of the store. Zero stars so far for the Pharmacy.

A few years ago when caring for my parents in their 90's, McCanns was the GO TO store for walkers, power lift recliners, specialized bathroom equipment and medical equipment. By all appearances, it still is.

But after a recent press review of pharmacy drug prices,had my Physician e mailed in an important prescription at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. McCanns cannot be held accountable for the massive Pacific Highway traffic on a Friday afternoon but I would have thought they would have immediately noticed

I've been a customer for years, and they consistently have helpful and knowledgeable staff who have been a wonderful blessing in a variety of ways. Even the postal service workers are friendly and accommodating, helping me with patience and care. This is my favorite post office, and a terrific pharmacy and gift shop. Highly recommend this store.

What can I say? So to make a long story short... I suffered an autoimmune attack and as a result I lost the use of my legs. I woke up one morning and able to feel or move my legs. In desperation to get around and to get myself to the ER I did a Google search for renting a wheelchair in Beaverton. They were able to rent me one for several months until the hospital and my doctors got caught up with my case. I was able to have a neighbor thankfully pick it up and then my husband was able to drop it off.
It was pretty seamless, $55 a month, and no drama...

This is a wonderful drugstore. As far as know stores like this no longer exist in the Seattle area. So glad I popped in to drop off a package at the post office inside. While I was there I was able to get my uncle his vitamins, travel sizes of toiletries and chocolates.

They have a large medical equipment department, a pharmacy and lots of cards, gifts and a candy counter with locally made candies sold by the piece. The people here are so nice. Not at all what I expected in a strip mall off highway 99.

This store is a gem!! Very personalized service from compassionate people. Much like the "mom & pop" stores of the past that we all miss. Ended up moving all my prescriptions from another way too busy pharmacy to this store and couldn't be happier!! Plus they have such fun and interesting merchandise. Go there!!!
The store is in Tigard even though Yelp thinks I'm in Gresham. I'm not.

The most helpful and knowledgeable staff. If you're waiting for a Rx refill, there is a variety of interesting food, decorations, games, even a post office. My mom is in assisted living, I'm a guy, and the staff at McCann's is able to help me deal with the age, gender, and general confusion I face in shopping for ma. I love this place.

I was send directly from my orthopedic surgery because of my bum hip and upcoming travel plans.
A very nice man named Al talked to me a bit, and had all sorts of suggestions. After questioning me and trying several medical assistance devices, he came up with the option on 2 canes. This is a huge improvement over crunches.
They clearly care for their clients. This place is much more than a pharmacy and medical supplies store, it's a people place. I saw several customers being attended to my sales clerks in a kind and respectful way. This type of mom and pop business is an endangered species

I recently moved across country and I needed an IM injection of a prescription of mine. My stock of needles and syringes were still in transit and I needed another syringe and needle.

I went to McCann's and asked what sizes they have. I like the smaller needles because I am an absolute wimp when it comes to these things. I knew something was wrong when they kept coming back and asking me questions, requiring me to fill out unnecessary forms etc. The pharmacist came around and finally told me they cannot sell me syringes without first filling a prescription that requires a syringes. "

I just happened to be next to it when running an errand. I have an uncle needing a colonoscopy bags, so I figured I'd drop in.

The price was average, but the customer service was outstanding.

I had various questions and the staff answered to the best of their ability by asking even when they didn't know the answer.

I would come back for any medical supply needs!
