Club or loaner boats are available for a small fee, and One Design Sailing offers a great way to learn the sport of sailing while making friends at the MYC. Previous sailing experiences is not required. The Moriches Yacht Club offers swimming lessons for both members and non-members every summer. Our program is run by American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors who focus on teaching children how to be safe in and around the water.

With over 3 acres of property located directly on beautiful Moriches Bay, the Moriches Yacht Club offers unequaled access to year round family focused events, bay access, pools, boat ramps, slips, sailboat storage and much more! Whether you are sailor, boater or landlubber, Moriches Yacht Club provides activities, social events, sailing and swimming lessons and best of all, a place on the bay for you!
As a new member, you must serve a probationary period as an "Annual" member prior to consideration by the Board of Governors for "Owner" member status. Annual membership status shall entitle the member(s) and dependent children, up to and including the age of 24, residing in the member's household to the facilities of the Club.
You must be an existing member in good standing and have received a renewal invoice to use this Membership Renewal form. If you are not yet a member and would like to be considered for membership, please fill out the Membership Application to start the process. If accepted, I promise to conform to the rules and regulations as made by the governing body of this Club and also to abide by its Constitution and by-laws.

We have active fleets of Optimists, 420s, Lasers, Sunfish, and Flying Scots.
The Paul E. Runyan Memorial trophy is awarded to the Flying Scot class winner of the Moriches Yacht Club Fall Series. The series is scored based on the best twelve (12) races sailed out of fifteen (15) scheduled races.
