A lanky Australian family man, adventurer, storyteller and destination wedding and elopement photographer currently based in South Florida. To be honest, I threw out the rule book for weddings a long time ago when my wife and I eloped to Las Vegas just nine days after I landed in the USA. Since then, I've witnessed the maddening power of love through a wild variety of adventures and rituals.
Some traditional, some completely "off the wall". I've come to believe that no matter how you choose to express your love, it's always worth celebrating and documenting in epic fashion. Every time I design a wedding album, I think about what it will mean to this couple and their family. Not just when they open it for the first time, but years down the road. I picture an elderly couple surrounded by a mess of grandchildren hovering around a dusty leather book. I imagine tiny hands reaching to feel the soft worn leather.
And our reward is a fresh perspective on what's truly important in the scheme of wedding planning. For many, that means embarking on the intimate, beautiful and exciting journey of eloping. But fear not, dear lovers. I'm here to guide you through the whole experience, and deliver a beautiful, detailed and authentic story of your elopement that captures not only what it looked like, but also what it felt like!.
In fact, I travel for most of the weddings and elopements I shoot. There are no additional travel costs for weddings or elopements within the USA (travel fees for international weddings are limited to flights only). You'll never be billed for meals or other miscellaneous travel expenses either. Accommodation is something I leave in your hands so you can control those costs as well as my proximity, and I'm not fussy at all about where I stay.
One-on-one mentoring is absolute favorite avenue for deliberate and impactful education in this often messy industry. So if you'll have me, I'd love to take you a tour of my history and show you how I've arrived at a place where creating with intent and crafting emotive stories is what fuels my creative spirit and also feeds my growing family.

I cant say enough about Josh! He made us feel comfortable from the first time we spoke and he went out of his way to make sure our guests felt the same. He was eager to collaborate with our planner and was so fun to have at our event! His ideas and vision helped our photos to turn out absolutely amazing! He captured our day perfectly! Josh became our friend from the time we sat down for our first meeting, and he was like a member of our family the day of our wedding. He blended in without being seen, and judging by our photos it seemed he was omnipresent. The images from his portfolio drew us in instantly! They are not just photographs, they are purely and simply art, just masterpieces! INSANE. Joshua was recommended to me by my engagement photographer and as soon as I went to his website I knew we needed him for our wedding. The way he captures the entire event is truly art. I have had so many compliments on our wedding photos and our family and friends absolutely love the video. From beginning to end Joshua and Alex were amazing to work with. On the dance floor they just blended into the crowd and let me tell you... the dance floor photos were SICK. They are by far my favorite moments to go and look back on.

Heard about Josh from 3 friends of mine and no wonder he had such raving reviews! He is by far the coolest cat you could ever hope to meet. Joshua was an A+ photographer. My wife and I hired him after our last photographer canceled our wedding and refused to reimburse us (long story). He was genuinely interested in us as a couple, planned with us proactively (and was very communicative throughout) and even "threw in" a session at our welcome party (that came out awesome). Love his slide show and his photos were of course top quality. Can't recommend Joshua enough.

Josh was our wedding photographer for our large multicultural, multi-day wedding two years ago. We reached out to Josh as soon as we got engaged to see if he was available last minute to travel with us to Yosemite for our engagement photos. He jumped at the opportunity and met us out West just a couple of weeks later. The three of us had quite the adventure running around Yosemite in the freezing rain, trying to make it to the top of Glacier Point Rd before a snowstorm blew in.
