John's is located at the intersection of Dale, Front and Como in St. Paul between the Minnesota State Capitol and Como Lake.

John's normal delivery range is 35E to 280 and from Highway 36 to Grand Avenue, however, we have often delivered to Roseville, White Bear, Minneapolis and even Bloomington, so don't hesitate to ask!

Everything is fantastic at John's Pizza, the pizza, the sandwiches, the pasta, the desserts. I am a long time, loyal customer. The staff is always friendly and the service is good. We frequently order take-out at work and the orders are always correct with nothing missing I hate when I order take out and the extra sauces are missing. That's never a problem at John's.

The host was very helpful and kind during my pickup, and my food (the Chickadilly hoagie) was awesome. It was still hot after I got home, the dill sauce was out of this world, and there was no shortage of pull-y mozzarella cheese. Really great for a Friday night indulgence. I’m definitely ordering again and trying different menu offerings.

What can I say, John's Pizza Cafe is by far one of the best in the Twin Cities, possibly even anywhere. Their selection of toppings alone is amazing, I mean, you can get just about anything you could want, and it's always delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The portions are exceptionally generous! I have actually never dined in at the new location (across the intersection from the old location), despite ordering for delivery or pick-up for many, many years. The staff has always been friendly, charming, and never expressed impatience as I dallied over what ingredients I wanted

Absolutely phenomenal! We tried John's pizza for the first time tonight and it was AMAZING! We are pretty picky about our pizza, but they knocked it out of the park. The team members were friendly and prompt. Our order was ready on time, and it was hot and fresh. We got the Hog in a Bog and the Chick-a-Dilly, tried the hand tossed and pan crust. The pizzas were loaded with fresh toppings, flavor, and delicious melty cheese, and the crust was perfection. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

I am not a huge fan of pizza but I crave John's pizza. My husband and I have been there twice and both times, have been very happy with the food and service. I wish this place was closer to my town so I could go there more often. The owner is a super nice guy and his staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be going back whenever we go into the cities.

I Used to go to this restaurant quite a few years ago and I would always order a calzone and some pasta. I was craving this specific calzone so I wanted to get one from this place because I remember them being amazing so I drove about 25 miles to get there. When I got home I was super disappointed that my calzone was burnt, On top of that when I came to pick up my food I parked next to their entrance door the lady on the phone When I called when I got there to pick up was a little unpleasant. She basically told me sorry you need to drive around the block to get your food because I am on the phone

Absolutely terrible service. A 45 minute order took almost two hours. Called to get an update, and was told "they were on their way". Customer service is so awful. I absolutely cannot stand this place. Poor management. Terrible service. Thanks for being an awful place to order from. You are absolutely horrible.

Ate dinner here tonight. Looks like a bar from the outside but it wasn't. You order at the counter- then someone brings your food out to you at a table of your choosing. Buffalo wings were good- not great. Sausage lasagna and chicken Alfredo pasta were awesome! Lots of sauce on both- yum! And the chicken Alfredo was browned just a little on top. We got an all meat and works pizza. Both were really good! The sausage was big chunks- loved that.The onions were sautéed which my husband said were ok- but he prefers raw. Ordered from here the other day to say we were we disappointed is an understatement. We ordered the da works along with the breadsticks. Upon arrival the delivery driver arrived scowling I greeted him kindly without even getting a Hi or hello in return after handing me our order I told him to have a nice day of which his reply was "yeah". We were pretty hungry and excited for pizza however that excitement was crushed when we opened the breadsticks and saw they were all burnt and hard as a rock so we moved onto the pizza with a giant hope the mistake would stop with the breadsticks. I Ordered a pan pizza and cheesy bread sticks. Sounded like a nice lazy Saturday summer lunch!!
But Upon opening the box of bread sticks they were dark brown and as hard as a rock. Clearly they had cooked before and reheated in the oven. They weren't even edible.
The taste was as if the oven hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time.
When opening the pizza the toppings were a mess and the crust was barley even cooked. A mess of water was underneath the pizza!
I could only have one piece due to

Used to love this place lately customer service has been atrocious always out of pizza won't make a new one for slices always out of pepperoni and the other options were dry hard and not even edible was a regular but never again how during lunch rush is there only one pepperoni pizza available and won't make another one or call one back to be made before it's gone. When I asked management/owner about was abrupt and very short and unapologetic to my dissatisfaction and wouldn't take an order or do anything to satisfy my disappointment just lost a very regular customer

Goodbye Domino's hello John's!!!!
I've lived in the neighborhood for a few years now and finally started out trying their burgers which I have loved (just not conducive for delivery) and finally decided to be brave and try their pizza. I am a very fussy eater so I was skeptical but decided to be brave and try it. I was NOT disappointed at all and absolutely loved it. Been having problems with Domino's lately but now I don't care. I will be doing business with John's from now on.

My go to pizza/burger joint with my kids. Their pizzas are always good and cheesy, usually quick service and polite staff. My favorite burger here is the Tennessee BBQ burger. It's big and can get sloppy so I normally cut it in half. Most of the time, I end up eating only half or a bit more since we usually order other food such as their applewood bacon mac and cheese which is super cheesy and creamy. My kids loved their french fries served with ranch.

Retracting my good review. Just paid $30 for two orders of pasta. Asked for the baked chicken Alfredo with NO CHICKEN (sub broccoli +--- we are vegetarian )...the girl who ALWAYS answers used to be very pleasant but now apparently hates her job, explained that they could not sub broccoli in the dish and that I would need to pay FULL PRICE PLUS an additional $1.50 for the broccoli!..
What a scam and the girl on the phone must be miserable ....after being a loyal customer for years and having to deal with 1) the phone girls terrible attitude and 2) 4-5 consecutive instances of problems with my order

This is the second time having food from Johns Pizza Cafe. The first time, we had a pizza delivered, and it was pretty decent pie. My fiancee didn't like it at all, but I didn't think it was bad at all, so I thought that I'd give it another shot. This time, I decided to go into the establishment.
On the outside, it looks like a standard restaurant with an outdoor patio. The inside is fairly small. This probably explains a lack of host and waitresses/waiters. You order everything up front. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger, and thought I could get fries with that, but I was wrong
