Palma
Palma and her husband, Pierre, opened the restaurant in 2001. They believe that everyday there is a reason to celebrate the love and beauty of life. You could always find their daughters sitting at a table doing homework or running around playing games. This atmosphere extends to their guests, who they host as they would their friends and family.

Over the years, the restaurant has grown organically and independently, and all the while Palma's heart has stayed the same. Fresh produce arrives from organic, biodynamic farms and local open-air Farmers' Markets. Their eldest daughter, Chloerose, is now a partner while their youngest daughter, Amber Mark's music can be heard throughout the restaurant (and all over the world).

Palma had our reservation for 6 people ready to go on time. The food was phenomenal- I would recommend the Arancini, Calamari, and Ravioli Cacio e Pepe to anyone. The service was primarily good, although it became hard to get their attention to get our check at the end of the meal. The ambiance was lovely.

When I came here with my fiancé, one side had been closed for a private event. The side we were on was very small. The interior is very cute but looking at my +6' ft tall fiancé try to fit into the little chair had me smiling the whole meal. This is definitely a good place for a new with your girlfriends; my fiancé looked like a bull in a China shop haha. Both him and I did enjoy our meals though. The bread here is amazing!!! I wish we had been bold enough to ask for seconds. I ordered the bolognese and it did not disappoint!

So Jiorianna, our server, was just about perfect. They kept us well fed and attended to without feeling at all rushed, which is the perfect balance for us.
I would say this was the best date I’ve ever had, and my girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a year and a half! The whole place, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. Can’t wait to return.

It's almost impossible to describe how great this place is. I was here as part of a team dinner, so I haven't experienced the normal menu downstairs. But the fact that my company has come here for the 4th year in a row should say something. Friendly people, terrific food. The truffle pasta is the thing that dreams are made of.

First time going to Palma for lunch & it was great! A smaller menu than dinner menu but still plenty of great options. The roasted artichokes were amazing! The lobster spaghetti is always a good choice!! The gluten free ravioli was also a hit! There are plenty of gluten free dishes for an Italian restaurant!

We held our wedding and reception at Palma in October 2021, and it was fantastic.  The staff at Palma were extremely helpful in planning the event and masterful in executing it, including the incredible waitstaff. Chloerose's and Julia's perspectives were so great to have.  We put our faith in their impeccable taste and were so happy with the result.  They very kindly helped create a custom menu for one of our guests, who had very specific dietary restrictions.
The ceremony took place in the garden, which was filled with lovely flowers. We then had a cocktail hour on the terrace, followed by

I've eaten here twice. The first time was about 3 years ago and it was INCREDIBLE. I've longed to go back. I finally made it back tonight. And unfortunately it was a disappointment.

I had a 5:15 p.m. reservation, and when I showed up the hostess refused to seat us inside despite the entire restaurant being completely empty. She said we would have to wait 30-45 min for a table inside. We reluctantly agreed to sit outside with the promise that it was heated. Well the hostess lied. The heaters were broken. We were freezing the entire dinner. To make matters worse no one really showed up

This restaurant has an incredibly beautiful outdoor area, but the food is very mediocre and expensive for what it is. I have been here before and booked reservations for the outdoor space when friends were visiting and upon arriving the hostess said I don't care what open table said we reserved the back area for a private party. It's worth a visit for the outdoor decor but I honestly would never recommend it based solely on the food.

Rude service is the biggest turnoff for me. We went to celebrate a birthday and let the restaurant know up front so they could do that candle and dessert thing. That never happened. And of course they also brought the wrong dish for the birthday boy as well but the biggest issue I had was when the server came over when the wrong dish arrived and she blamed us. No apology at all. Then the chef comes out and hovers over our table finally asking how it was as if he deserves kudos for doing his job. And did I mention they brought out bread for us but didn't bring any oil or vinegar. We had to

Come here for the atmosphere, feels like an authentic Italian alley way with great food. Chicken Milanese was 10/10. Risotto balls were cold but still very good flavor

Wanted to have a romantic dinner for my wife’s birthday. We decided on the place based off the area and the good reviews. The place is small but very beautiful. It feels like you’re in a small town in Italy. At first they sat us at a small table and we asked if we could get a larger one since we felt a little squished. The manager was so kind and moved us immediately despite them being very busy. The manager of the restaurant is an absolute delight! She was very personable, kind and made our night so enjoyable. Our waitress was also very attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything.

I don't leave 1 star reviews
But I am for this place

830 reservation when we arrive we are told at least a 30 minute wait or we can sit outside now

We will wait for a table inside and they say we have to wait outside anyways in 45 degrees at a too small table with a broken heater.

Wednesday night so easy to go somewhere else and we did

Horrible experience. We had a reservation for 5. Confirmed for indoor. They sat us outside for a table for 4 and said there were two groups ahead of us. The heaters were also broken in November. I understand being busy but do not over commit if you cannot accommodate. Hostess was rude and made no attempt to help

Rolled into Palma after 10 hours of airline travel and just looking for a good meal. So delighted to be taken care of perfectly and eat such amazing food. We got the grilled artichokes, goat cheese salad, and the pan seared steak done medium rare and everything was perfection. I'm not as familiar with Italian wines and the waiter helped us find the perfect pairings to go with our food. Topped it all of with the flourless chocolate cake and couldn't be happier. Cannot wait to go back and try more. So friendly and great privacy for romantic dining. The atmosphere and service were absolutely

Came here for a friends wedding brunch for a party of 16 and the entire experience was lovely. A huge shout out to our server Kevin who helped to facilitate. The private party was in a beautiful room in the back of the restaurant, we took beautiful pictures in the garden and the food was incredible. Lasagna, eggplant rollatini, roasted potatoes, steak...everything was served family style but served by staff and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and I can't wait to come again.

Love this place! My partner and I came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The service and food are incredible and the little backyard area is so sweet and romantic. My partner got gluten free pasta and I was SHOCKED at how amazing it was. The flavors were incredible. Such a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Palma was a very cozy and romantic spot in the west village. Perfect for a celebration, birthday, or date night. The calamari and eggplant apps were incredibly done, the pastas were great too, with a lot of gluten free and vegetarian options! We loved the light and airy tiramisu as well. They have a front terrace, a garden and private back rooms as well as a smaller indoor area. I highly recommend trying this spot for a homey dinner with really sweet and attentive staff

Having been invited to a wedding last night and experiencing my first meal at Palma I am in awe! Never have I had such amazing food. Everything was perfect. The service old school. The decor a combo of regal with a rustic feel.
I can't wait to recommend this restaurant to everyone I know !
FYI if you need a romantic spot this is the place to go!

This place is a trip to Italy without going to Italy. Server was from rome and we reminisced together of times in rome! He was a delight. Very delicious food and great service. Mains took a little longer to come out than expected but it was fine, it was Italian time. What can we say? We had a great night. Very cute spot for a date or a girls night out!! Salad was refreshing, ravioli was rich and calamari tasted just like the ones we had in Italy. Also the mushroom pasta was fabulous!! Mushrooms were cooked to perfection and the fresh homemade pasta was nice and chewy. Would definitely come back

The waitrr took some time to warm up. I itially he was aloof and standoffish bit over time we won him over. Truth be told I would prefer not to have to work for proper hospitality. What the service lacked the food more than made up for.
Drinks: nothing special bit they were good enough and did the trick.
Bread Basket: this may look simple and not vet inspiring but it was the best foccacia ever. Soft and drenched with olive oil and sprinkled with salt we had to ask for a second helping.
Ravioli Cacio Peppe: simply perfect and as an added surprise it is gluten free. Had not odea when eating it

The drinks definitely scored at Palma! I was super excited about fettuccine al fungi, but felt underwhelmed. The handmade pasta was delicious but felt overall the dish lacked in seasoning.
It's a beautifully quaint restaurant in the village do I will definitely go back.

This place is beautiful! It has the cutest covered patio in the back decorated with fresh flowers. They are following covid precautions - temp check, contact tracing, tables 6 feet apart and plexi glass dividers.

For cocktails, we ordered the mezcal and gin drinks which were both delicious. The gin drink reminded me of a pisco sour with the egg white.

For dishes we ordered the eggplant appetizer (INVOLTINI DI MELANZANE), pappardelle alla bolognese and fettuccini ai funghi. All of them were delicious but my favorite was probably the pappardelle. The fettuccine was gluten free and it was my first

I love this place. I took my now wife two years back for our first year anniversary. The pasta is really fresh. The steak is well seasoned, and their tiramisu is light and delicious.
Inside is beautiful. You feel like your in a different country surrounded by beautiful light fixtures, wild plants, and French mention. This place is perfect for dates and intimate dining.

Gorgeous place and great atmosphere. There are fresh flowers everywhere and it feels like you are at a large dinner party in someone's house! One of many hidden gems in ny!

We tried a couple of the pastas, but standouts were the ravioli and the meat and cheese board!

Will be back!

I came here last weekend for a special occasion. It's a beautiful concept for a restaurant. The entire place is set up like someone's home you're dining at instead of traditional restaurant seating. I was seated in the outdoor garden/backyard and didn't get to see much of the inside. They had space heaters to keep us somewhat warm. Overall the atmosphere is very cramped/cozy, dim, and quite romantic.

I just expected more from the food. It's quite expensive, as Italian food in the city usually is, but I'm not able to justify the price for the quality of the food.
