About: I Founded FG Insurance in August of 2004 with the thought to be a true broker, representing all insurance companies rather than just one, and to always do the right thing for my clients. Cooking is something I do to relax and a love for growing flowers all over the yard is something that I inherited from my Grandmothers.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They missed enrolled my family into a terrible plan. I tried to confirm with the correct plan and got radio silence. Now I am dealing with a case worker through marketplace to counteract their mistake. This is going to effect my family, coverage and finances. I highly recommend going with another company who actually pays attention to their clients and know what they are doing.
This company, especially Nick Johnson is incompetent and should not be allowed to represent anyone in solidifying insurance for your family or business.

I am going to be turning that magical age of 65 in the next few months, and was clueless about Medicare and all it's parts and plans. Nick was very patient with me and spent 1 1/2 hours with me going over my options and its costs. Turns out I will be saving A LOT of money when I switch and can remove myself off my husbands policy. (He is happy too). I recommend that people visit at least one independent insurance before they get their medicare card, and I would recommend FG Insurance and Nick to answer your questions, and come up with the best plan for you.

New to Oregon, self employed, needed individual health insurance. Called here based on great yelp reviews and close. Cassandra initially seemed AWESOME! So attentive and responsive w/my MANY questions. Decided on Kaiser. She sent paperwork needed for signature - albeit, unrevised since last plan I decided on and we discussed. (Bronze for 565/mo vs Silver 720/mo) When I called to inquire before signing, she said she had problems making revision, but, NOT TO WORRY, she would do before submitting to Kaiser. When we embarked on the daunting task of offering insurance benefits to the employees of our tree service company, we found Nick at Fg Insurance. Nick offered top customer service, excellent communication, follow-through and simple explanations for the sometimes overwhelming options when choosing a health care plan for multiple people. Nick Johnson has proven himself as a constant professional time and time again. He comes from the unique school of "what's best for the customer is best for me." Even during the extremely busy times of open enrollment, Nick is always willing to answer questions and put his customers at ease. I was having trouble signing up a friend with healthcare.gov and called Fg Insurance for guidance. Nancy was very pleasant and informative and made me an appointment the next day with Loraine. Loraine was wonderful to work with and they really know their stuff.

I wish I had meet Chrissy Michael 10 years ago when I was a self employed single mom. I'm lucky now to be married and have insurance through my husband.
But I was with my friend Yvonne when Chrissy was giving her a quote for insurance and wow she really simplified the process. I had know idea you would get the same quote calling her that you would get calling insurance company's direct but she can look at all of them for you way faster then you can make 10 phone calls. I highly recommend her!

She is always updated with the newest information and requirements. Insurance comparison shopping can be overwhelming and confusing. Chrissy takes time to answer questions and simplify the whole process.

Chrissy at FG Ins was great to work with -- very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! I wish I would have met Chrissy a couple years ago when a different health ins broker signed me up for Cover Oregon (when I didn't it) and it became a big mess and headache!! Chrissy got me out it, explained my different options, and put my family in an incredible health plan. As a small business owner I don't have a lot of extra free time (or money!) and it is good to have someone in the Health Ins that can answer my questions, has options, and can be there to help me out. The blog is fairly new but totally worth keeping an eye on. I am a big fan of being informed on just about anything I can get my hands on... so why not learn more about this insurance thing that we all need?
