I am a physician/MD who had my son and wife seen at the institute by Dr Padula and his partner after recently moving to the area. They both underwent very expensive testing, not covered or accepted by insurance, and had prescriptions for prism glasses, progressive and bifocals, different than that had been prescribed by other optometrists in the past. The prescriptions for both of them were made and both my wife and son could not tolerate the prescribed glasses after wearing them for a couple of weeks. Dr Padua and his partner were contacted about this without resolution of their inability to wear

Dr. Padula's research and work in the field of NVPT has completely changed my practice and the way my associates and I interact with our patients. It has driven me to think well outside the Optometric/Ophthalmological box of conventional training. I am extremely grateful for his contributions in this field.

He literally saved and changed my life. After a severe concussion my vision was altered and I could no longer use a computer, phone, tv etc and doing almost anyting that included lots of motion (think putting away dishes or laundry) made me incredibly dizzy. He was willing to do what no other eye doctor even thought to do - he created special lenses allowing me to use a computer again and get back to work. All other eye doctors stressed visual therapy which didn't work for me. I still have a long way to go to increase my ability to work to full time, but he is working with me on this and I now

As a retired MD and advocate of integrative medicine, I have been a patient of Dr. Padula for years. He is an international leader in neuro-optometry and established that optometric subspecialty; discovered and described "midline shift syndrome" in stroke and other diseases and successfully treated it with prisms, nasal patches, eye exercises, etc.; established free low-vision clinics in China; invented color therapy for visual problems; is constantly on the cutting edge of eye-brain problems; and has always taken insurance. He has practiced integrative optometry for years and has a

Basically this place sells blue sky to people who need help.
They wanted to charge hundreds of dollars for glasses for our boy. (They wouldn't accept insurance that should be a warning.)
They said the prescription was so complicated that only they could be trusted to make them.
When I presented the prescription to MY optometrist it became clear what a scam this place was.
The Optometrist merely shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing in the prescription that was special or prismatic or any of the other claims that they made.
We were lucky to catch on to this place after only three
