I drive past many Chinese restaurants to go to Chef Li and it is always definitely worth the trip. The quality of the ingredients they use and their preparation is outstanding. The decor as well as their employees are wonderful and friendly. If you are looking for sensational Chinese food try Chef Li to taste and experience what I've described.

I've been coming to Chef Li for years. The food is excellent (my daughter recommends the Vegetarian Orange Chicken). The owner stocks gluten-free soy sauce (I recommend the gluten-free Mushu Pork (sorry, no gluten-free pancakes)). Every time, my order is correct. I love the healthy quality, excellent taste, and speed. I also love that I can re-heat the food a different day and have it still be excellent. The orchids in the shop add to the experience even if I'm doing takeout. I'm so glad to have such a great restaurant in my neighborhood!

This place is a real gem. Excellent food and nice people. The salt and pepper chicken is not the lowest calorie thing you're ever going to eat but it is fantastic and worth the calories I say. For healthier stuff the kung Pao vegetables with 3 fairy tales is a real go to, and it can be customized to your liking with respect to spiciness, etc... I've not tried the entire menu but definitely tried most of it over the years and I like everything I've tried here. Also, when I'm a bit under the weather, their wor won ton soup is high on the list of things I reach for. Highly recommend

This is my go to place for Chinese food! The food has been delicious for the last 20+ years! Each dish has a beautiful presentation and the dining room has a very warm and elegant vibe. There are always a profusion of orchids present for the eye to feast upon. Try the specials which are seasonal specialties and made with fruits and veggies that are in season and really ultra fresh.
I have treated many people to Chef Li and each and every time my guest have been very impressed, asked for his card and have returned on their own.

First time was lunch specials Togo this week. Plenty of food, despite no soup...I guess I missed that they don't serve that Togo. The hunan beef was delicious, and even thought it's marked spicy, it's not. I would prefer the onions cut a bit smaller as they were too big to carmelize or cook through. The cashew chicken was bland... I had to add flavor. And I love flavor, but shy away from too much heat. But it was nice pieces of chicken. The fried rice is not greasy like a loft of places which I appreciated. However the egg rolls were so greasy I would have to put them on the

Came on a Monday around 3:00 and was the only costumers the whole time we were there. Quick and friendly service, clean and bright restaurant, food came out quick and hot. I recommend the BBQ pork noodles and would pass on the walnut shrimp. Shrimp had a very thick batter and was on the dryer side.

We were so disappointed with the food. First of all, we ordered A LOT with the idea of having yummy leftovers for a few days. The fried rice was perfect. Everything else was just blah. It really had no flavor. I thought maybe I was getting sick and lost my sense of taste. But the family all agreed it was missing flavors. Besides bland, the king pao chicken didn't have ANY spice to it! Lesson learned, next time trying a new place we will place a small order, what a waste!

Highlights
- Chef li recently remodeled. Think modern Chinese restaurant with a flower aesthetics vibe here.
- Seating indoors and takeout available
- The best part, you can purchase all the orchid/flower arrangements in the restaurant. The food also comes with floral decor.
- Plenty of parking in the plaza that has a market, many eateries, and dessert shops nearby
- My favorite dishes: Assorted seafood bean curd soup, lettuce wraps, honey roasted walnut prawns, dry sautéed string beans, and vegetable delight
- Dessert menu is impressive for a Chinese restaurant with options that include nicely

This review is solely for owners rude and jnhuman behavior. We walked into a completely empty restaurant and asked owner if its open for dinein. His answer "Cant see open board is there?"
We decided to try it and put my newborn stroller on the side.He came and started shouting that i cant let you block hallway. There was no other customer. When we moved the stroller he still said you need to put in on the corner like the child was a toy or something. We decided to get out immediately. No wonder why business does not run any more.Inhuman rude obnoxious human being.

We haven't been here in a really long time and decided to try it tonight. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food being really bland. I don't think they added any seasoning to anything this evening.

We don't recall it being this bland, so maybe there was a new cook or they simply forgot "something".

We had the beef chow fun, salt and pepper fish and the tofu/black mushrooms and vegetables. We had to add chili sauce and salt to everything.

I ordered through Doordash tonight & my 1st time to eat their food. Everything was freshly prepared with very little oil & no MSG. The price is reasonable compared to others Chinese restaurant but the OWNER is extremely obnoxious, rude &he barked me over the phone to confirm my order. He should learn how to communicate & respect customers even otherwhile people won't care your business.

The owner is very nice and the best food ever . My favorite is chicken chow main. But all food is good plus the egg rolls are delicious. If you feel for Chinese food go there you won't regret it.

Took off three stars due to the owners poor attitude. Otherwise, it would be five stars.
We've dined in and ordered take out to many time to count, over the past 18+ years. The food, the majority of the time excellent. Have only had had a few off times, it was less than ok. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. Over all the hired staff is very nice. However, the owner is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. Tonight I placed a to-go order. He barked at me that that close at 9 pm and can I be here in five minutes (it was 8:45). While on the phone placing my order

I give this place a well deserved 5 stars because the food was nothing short of amazing...food you would expect at a high end restaurant. We had the crispy fried chicken salad, salt and pepper catfish which we found at the very back of the menu listed under Chef Li Special Dish's, and mango panna cotta. I wish I would have taken a picture of the fried chicken salad as it was just as beautifully vibrant as it was tasty including strawberries, mango, and candied walnuts in a sweet chili vinaigrette dressing.

The salt pepper catfish was almost too good to be true. Deep fried in a very well

Decent Chinese food. Ordered by phone and they explained prices online were out of date, its about $1 more each dish.

Picked up at the door and appreciated the disinfecting of the credit card. However, there was a long black hair tied into the plastic bag, eww.

I ordered the mongolian beef lunch special for myself, eggplant in hot garlic sauce for my friend. Both had fried rice, which wasn't very good, even with adding hot sauce to it. What I didn't like is they gave us one container of sweet and sour sauce for the egg roll. It would've been nice if they gave us 2, cuz hello, COVID

Open during covid.

Very nicely setup takeout so no one has to go in the restaurant.

Huge portions, but maybe a bit spendy when you compare to other local spots. I usually just get the chicken fried rice and I can eat it for two meals. Don't tell my Asian family, but I add a bit of butter when I get home...

Also like the potstickers and Singapore noodles (rice noodles with curry powder & chicken).

I used to love this place. They had great noodles, good quality meat, and their hot and sour soup was awesome.

I came back after a year and was sad to see the changes. The noodles were thinner and dryer, the meat was ok, and the owner screamed at another patron and told them to never come back while I was waiting for my order.

It's now become average at best and unfortunately won't be making the drive to visit this place.
