I came here to make the light blonde balayage highlights. Pros: the staff was very nice, the stylist made the perfect haircut and nice highlights that made me look cute. Cons: spent too much time trying to make what i wanted (we have to wash and dry my hair 3 times to see the results), and it was still not exactly like in the picture that I showed. And after that I realized I got bleach stains on my new top (that's really sad). I'd give 3 stars but at least the stylist did a good job and didn't ruin my hair, hehe.

Lisa is exceptionally talented! Came in from
out of town and needed a change. Transformed my 62 year old frumpy hair into the perfect length and style. Like my stylist at home for color but planning to travel back to CT anytime I need a haircut. LOVE fun, candid, so easy to talk to, no stress, tells-you-like it-is Lisa!

Lisa is literally amazing a miracle worker. I have been going to get my hair colored for years from the same place and my hair became dry, dead and lifeless. I also went to a “specialty salon” to cut curly hair called Ouidad and Lisa immediately told me what was wrong with the cut they did there too. When I was done getting my hair done from Lisa, my hair has never been so curly and voluminous and colorful and bright. I can’t wait to continue my journey with her I am so excited !!!! Thank you Lisa !!!!

I hadn't had a hair cut in over a year. Not only was a little nervous heading back in to the salon because of covid, but knowing I needed to take a good 10 inches off was super stressful, too! Yeah, my hair was in rough shape. Right when I got there my fears started to disappear. Lisa and her team were awesome right from the get go. Super clean. Social distancing in place in all areas. Lisa herself knew right away what would be best for my hair as soon as I sat down with her. She knows exactly what she is doing! She is super talented and her personality sets you at ease. After I left, I felt fabulous

Was apprehensive about getting my hair done this past week. But all those feelings immediately dissipated when I entered Barilla Salon. Was greeted with smiles and positivity. The Salon was impeccably clean and the owner, Lisa, utilize every safeguard possible to make the client feel safe and at ease. The experience was peaceful and calm. You did an outstanding job making the Salon a safe haven Lisa. Can't wait for my next visit.

Lisa has creative vision to try new things with me, and exceeds my expectations every time. I always leave feeling glamorous. Michelle was the “lucky” stylist who took care of my COVID box color & self hair cut. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, & actually a very lovely person. I really liked the end results & going back again!!

Michelle is an artist! I often come in with vague ideas of what I want and Michelle always makes it work better than I could have imagined! She has taken my hair through all different shades and each one has come out great! I have A LOT of hair (long and thick) and Michelle keeps it looking great!

These highlights- I mean COME ON. The blowdry still feels lush today (shoutout to Sixto- thank you my man!)

I love this shop. I was in a pinch one day with my grandson needing a haircut so bad, and their sign, Walk-ins Welcome, had me taking him there. Nicole worked him in, gave him a great cut, and now he won't go anywhere else. I now go to her, my sister, my daughter, and two little granddaughters. If we need accomadations that we did not book ahead, they will work you in with someone. Very professional stylists who keep up with their trade and styles. Friendly atmosphere. I recommend this shop.

I was so happy to find that my hairstylist Gina was working there. I know most of the staff because they used to be at Shampoo One. I have never had a bad haircut or service at Barilla's Salon, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you book in advance they are ready for you when you arrive. I get more compliments on my hair since going here.

Michelle is the best. She always does a great job on my hair-highlights cut and blow dry. She's creative and if I'm not sure what I want, she will come up with great options. Highly recommend!

My mom has known the owner (Lisa) for 20 years, she's LITERALLY the only person I let touch my hair with any scissors, dye, bleach, anything. She's amazing at what she does and the salon is absolutely beautiful inside. Lisa has put a lot into her salon and I will continue to support her until I'm no longer in CT.

Worst salon experience I have ever had owner is rude and disrespectful. Claim her line theey make themselves .its a garbage private label she slapped her name on .Such a crap place never going again

I love this salon not to mention some of the best stylist you will find in all Glastonbury and East Hartford. Lisa does my hair and I'v always been very happy with her color and cut. All around

I get consistently good service here; Sixto gives a great cut! The facility is bright and clean - not a lot of frills but a friendly, efficient staff and reasonable prices.

Clean, friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff! I love my cut & color (services provided by Michelle). I have also had an updo done here for my wedding & it was perfect! They make you feel comfortable & taken care of as soon as you walk in the door. Good location w/ plenty of available parking.

UPDATE:

I received a very nasty email from one of the stylists at Barilla's Salon....she was angry b/c I didn't give her the courtesy of letting her fix my hair. Here's the problem with that: the young lady who sent the nasty email WAS NOT MY STYLIST!!!!! I don't even know who she is!! Shameful on their part......
