Merlin Medical Supply

Absolutely amazing! They have always helped with all our medical supplies, needs, as well as advice. Recently we needed an item suddenly with short notice and Merlin's, specifically Mary Kruse, not only had what we needed but made it happen much faster than anticipated. I saved money and received care and understanding only a local shop could give.
Way to go Merlin's and Mary Kruse!

This place is amazing. They were so professional and really helpful when I was in need. My mother was going to be released from the hospital without telling me any notice and I was extremely scared. I called and spoke with Mary and she was so helpful in getting me a hospital bed for a good price the next day!!! She even helped me get it reimbursed through my insurance! Isaac and Jack were so professional when setting up the bed and showed me how it worked. I’m very impressed with the awesome customer service they provided!!!!

Merlin was terrific and fast and easy. Arlene was amazing. She called the doctor, got the documents and the insurance approval before I got there, called me when she had it, fit me on the spot without an appointment. Way better than every other medical supply store. These guys are the best. I highly recommend them!

I recently discovered Merlin Medical Supply in Camarillo. They were listed as a company located in my area, Oxnard CA. On their website, I saw medical supply items that I wanted to see in person and ask questions regarding their use. I was having tendon repair surgery on my right ankle and would need assistance getting around using only my left leg for support

Upon entering this location, I was warmly greeted by one of their staff members. After explaining what I was looking for, Isaac Perez, their store manager, assisted me in finding the right items that would help me in my recovery

My brother in law needed to move to assisted living in a fairly short time frame. I called and spoke to Mary and was so impressed with her kindness and patience. You can feel Mary's smile on the phone. We ordered a medical bed and a wheelchair.
Several days later I needed to call back and I spoke to Isaac. I received the same wonderful service.
I highly recommend this company. They go above and beyond.

Merlins is a wonderful medical company!! They have very compassionate employees. I have been getting supplies from them as a new customer for my brother and Mary has helped me a lot along the way! She made it very easy and called me with updates along the way. She has the most professional phone voice and always sounds happy when I have talked to her. I will definitely be doing more business with her in the future!!!

Danielle at the front desk is completely unprofessional. She tried to rush me out of the store and had no idea what she was talking about and was making everything sound really complicated. She was on speaker phone with patients and clinics which is a huge HIPPA violation RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME A CUSTOMER!!! She should not be working there there was a very nice older woman however that was very helpful and knew all the statistics of the product I was looking at. I would definitely ask they hire people who know what they are doing!!!

Paul and his staff built my back brace for me after I broke my back. It was a very specialized custom job and they went out of their way to make sure it was done right and that I was happy. I was very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend Merlin's to others.

My father who suffers from full blown incontinence (largely due to Parkinson's disease) uses the GeeWhiz catheter product from Merlin Medical. Fantastic product, and the MM staff is easy to work with and very helpful and responsive.

Popped in here this morning. I spoke with a gentleman, I don't remember his name, immediately when I walked in. I gave him the script the doctor had provided for my mother. He quickly grabbed the item. He educated me to help better understand how it should be used. As we chatted during checkout, he mentioned that the staff was in the back getting educated with more medical videos. I love that they are constantly learning. Great experience!

They were rude, racist, and insinuated I was trying to commit insurance fraud. Then their staff was feigning shock when I, in extreme distress, was upset and offended by their insinuation about what my nose fracture had to do with a a wrist splint. Clearly, the doctor put the wrong reasons down. BTW I was in an accident the day before where I suffered both a nose and wrist fracture, concussion, had 3M glue stitches on my face and several other bruises and abrasions simply because I took the wrong step. The owner at this location was outrageously rude to me over 12 years ago, right after I moved to Camarillo. I ended up staying here and have never gone back to this store for all of my durable medical equipment needs (I have at minimum a monthly order they could have supplied me with had he shown kindness to me.) I am so fortunate to have wandered into Merlin's a long time ago. Since then I have become progressively disabled and have visited anytime I need assistive devices. Paul and his team are wonderful. They are very helpful and imaginative.

A year or two ago I bought a powered lift recliner and recently started having a small problem with it. We have used Paul Dworks services for a number of years. He and his staff are personable, and friendly as well as super-informed. If you are looking for "cheap" this may not be for you. If you are looking for quality and service at a reasonable market price, this is for you!

I am surprised by all of the negative reviews on this site. We have been using Merlin's for over 20 years. We started there when my dad was dx'd with ALS. We had horrible problems with the insurance that my parents had regrettably signed their Medicare over to. Paul was able to advise us what that insurance company had to cover based upon what Medicare covers. He walked us through all of the steps and helped us access a number of items.

This Place has been around longer than you may think. They provide a service that is in demand in this town. Helping the elderly is not always high on some business owners list. NOT a magic store. The whole place is medical supplies and one tiny, dark area that is hidden on the side with a few cheap tricks. Really weird actually.

I went there today with a prescription for a splinter. I was assisted by a man. He asked if I was going through insurance I said yes and handed him my card. He said he needed to call them to verify if they were in network. I said ok and waited. About 15 mins passed by when he comes to me to do HIS job and call on my behalf. He says to me that he wouldn't be able to help me until I get him a live body to talk to him. I asked him "isn't that your job?" he just kept mumbling nonsense. I walked in asking about a nebulizer. Paul asked if I knew how to use one (I didn't). He asked who it was for and if it was to deliver medicine or water. He then got the nebulizer out, made sure I had the pieces I needed, and showed me how to use it. It was a fantastic experience! Thank you so much!

This place is terrible. First off, the store gentlemen were rude. I came in with a prescription from my doctor, was getting ready to present my ID and insurance and then they tell me that there's an issue with my insurance. Also I was using crutches and they didn't offer me a seat. So rude.

Most obnoxious store ever, will not be back or recommend to anyone : went in asking for help and at the end He, MERLIN, stated "I assume you did not have insurance" to my husband because we informed him of my husbands occupation,a field worker. How dare you sir to assume someone does not have health coverage because we didn't want to buy some overpriced contraption.

Excellent! I got my wheelchair arm fixed. It was quickly done at an affordable price with quality parts. Also checked out a new nova and Drive chair. Great showroom and excellent customer service. Be sure to go if your in need of any kind of medical supplies or equipment.

I called up looking for a special walker for my aunt, Issac was kind enough to photograph item so I could make sure it was what I needed and then gave me a total which I paid over phone so that I could have a family member pick up for me.

I have been on the hunt for a nebulizer machine and I finally found one at a great price. This store is super busy; but they'll make time for you. They have a lot of medical supplies for you to choose from. I totally recommend them; it's worth it.

Magic shop in the 805? Wasn't sure about this place with its one star review about something totally unrelated to magic. But I needed to find some cool magic tricks that were simple for kids to perform and this place was close to where I was. Decided to stop by and explore. Ya know, do that yelp thing. Well, first off, the store front doesn't face the street, it faces due south. So, if you don't know where its at, you might miss the red lettering facing Mobil Ave. if you're traveling south on it. You'll see it's in the first building right by Lombardo's
