If I found out about this salon sooner I would've been coming every year. I found Emily through my own searching and I'm so glad I found her. I needed help on maintaining my hair because I knew I wasn't going to be able to do it on my own. Emily gave me the best option for my hair, and was able to install it as soon as she could. She made my confidence go through the roof, I look like a whole new woman, I love looking at myself and everyone I know has complimented my hair. Cancelled an appointment, happily paid the $75.
Bond hair bar then charged me another $75 this month for no reason at all.
I called Emily, who asked me to send her a screen shot of the charge, which I did.
After that Emily has ignored my emails, phone calls, and voicemails.
Now I'm not on to complain but $75 is a lot of money to just be robbed out of for no reason.

The hair I purchased and had installed here is atrocious. I could go into great detail about my experience but I don't want to get worked up. I blindly trusted this process and was proven a fool because of it; my pockets a lot lighter and my hair in worse shape than I started.
Point blank, the owner, self proclaimed "best in the Bay Area", has standards that are mediocre -at best. The hair quality was crap from the get-go, but after more wear it began to shed EXCESSIVELY. I don't believe the technique she used to install is appropriate for

Simply put, Emily is amazing. I have naturally thin, fine hair, but over the last six months, I began to lose massive amounts of it. As someone with thin hair, I had used hair extensions on and off for over 8 years. I used every method- braided weave, beaded weft, tape in, individual bonds, individual locks, etc- and was never totally satisfied. My thin hair always struggled to cover heavy tracks of hair and I hated how the wefts would sag on the bottom track after only a couple of weeks. I found Bond Hair Bar right in time for my brother's wedding and Emily gave me the locks I was looking for.
She has been doing hair extensions for 20 years and her skills show! The salon is beautiful and she even has a private space for her work. I am a particular person, and I was worried about the hair color matching for my event! Everything came out superb! I am very grateful to have found Emily!

I found Emily after a search for help with a set of extensions that were well past due. My hair is thin and frail and had been damaged from previous set so she suggested a braided sew in to give my natural hair a break. It was a new approach but I was sold by her confidence and knowledge in our consultation. My new set is thick, feels great and worth every penny. She listened when I asked for bangs and cut them perfectly - now my friends all want bangs :) I've included photo's below. Emily did a great job with my hair extensions. I have thin, frail hair and she advised me on the type of extensions I should be choosing to preserve my own hair. Hair tied weft extensions is exactly what I needed. They do not tangle and are low maintenance. I am washing and combing it just as my natural hair.

Emily is a master! I wanted extensions for my wedding, and I had plans to get them with someone else, but things fell through. Emily was able to get me in ASAP for a consultation and then for the service. I was very hesitant, because it was very expensive – more than I wanted to pay for extensions, however, now I know why. Let's be honest and transparent; her reply is an inaccurate and unprofessional statement. I am not surprised by her response. Emily verbally assaulted me in front of her staff and clients. BTW, she had her "assistant" do the test strand. I did not want to return the product, I wanted her to acknowledge the misinformation given and try to work it out with her, but to no avail, Emily dismissed it. I think she is not aware of the etiquette guidelines on Yelp. Respond kindly to a client and figure out how to settle professionally.

Covid and a second pregnancy was not good to my hair and Emily was a life saver!!
The salon itself is so cute - pink and modern, very glam!
Emily made me feel very comfortable and was super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING - from recommending a flattering cut and color to talking about extensions and even about hair loss. She was so creative and I love my new hair!

Emily is amazing at what she does. I came in with extremely damaged hair. She did a color correction and helped me pick out the perfect hair extensions. She took time to address all of my questions and concerns. My new hair is so beautiful, I constantly get compliments. Overall, my new hair has really helped my confidence. Have been getting my hair styled by Gina for about 3-4 years now and am so happy to have her at a salon that is open and very safe during covid. They are taking all the necessary precautions and it feels sparkly clean inside!
I made the mistake of putting off a haircut before lockdown last year and was in dire need. I feel like a new person after chopping off almost 10 inches!
Gina does such a great job of cutting my hair that even if I don't blow dry or style it, it falls so nicely and looks great.

The salon is very nicely designed and is spacious and beautiful. It felt very safe during COVID -- lots of space between people, everyone kept their masks on (guests and stylists) and the stylists did a great job sanitizing.
Gina gave me an exceptional haircut -- my wife complemented it and people at work complemented it as well (even on Zoom!). Highly recommended.

She put my hair on backwards and charged me full price and then didn't agree to fix it for days because she was "busy". Oh, and I wanted my hair lightened so she says that's why she put my hair on backwards.
And when I asked to fix it a day later and came to her store asking her (after paying $650 for this. Asked for chestnut brown color and she put two of the wefts BACKWARDS) she called the cops on me and said I was bothering her.
She overcharges and treats people like she's doing them a favor. Not worth the $$$$$$$$ and time.
Trust me that there are nicer people out

When my hair was getting washed, the other employees kept telling my stylist that someone else needed the washing station so she rushed. My entire back got wet in the process and after, she didn't clean the station up very well (Covid concern). The deep conditioning treatment made my hair feel great but my haircut wasn't awesome. For the past 15 years I have been struggling with thin and brittle hair. It just never grew back the same after chemo. I've tried different products from home remedies to shampoos to clip in extensions and custom wigs... I randomly decided to do a search for braided weaves and stumbled upon Emily.
