Helping young people feel confident and be successful in school and the world around them. Dr. Goldstein has devoted more than 20 years to the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. She is the founder and director of Westchester Child Therapy in Scarsdale, NY and Calabasas Child and Adolescent Psychology in Calabasas, CA.

Within the scope of her practice, she conducts comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, provides psychological therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment, and teaches executive functioning and study skills for academic success.

Calabasas Child and Adolescent Psychology applies cutting-edge, comprehensive, evidence based evaluation and treatment approaches to support children, teens and parents. These evaluations are comprehensive testing processes that identify children's learning and behavior patterns. These evaluations provide an in-depth look at an individual's capacity to learn, current academic functioning, processes necessary for learning, and social and emotional functioning.

The evaluation provides a road map to better understand your child's functioning in areas such as language, reading, writing, math, memory and learning, attention and executive functioning, processing speed, non-verbal learning, fine motor skills, and personality.
At Calabasas Child & Adolescent Psychology, the focus is on providing children, teens, and parents the skills necessary to achieve personal goals. Based on the initial intake, specific goals are generated and solution-focused treatments are used to target each family's needs. We use a strength based, supportive, and collaborative approach.
To support educators, we have created a variety of unique and innovative programs that provided teachers with practical tools to use in their classroom. Our trainings range from understanding the signs and symptoms of mental health, building a positive classroom climate, and improving learning efficiency.
During the consultation we will discuss your concerns, and concrete suggestions will be provided for the best approach to your unique situation. At this time we are conducting sessions both in the office or via teletherapy, based on the client's preference. Overall research supports that teletherapy is as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy for a range of circumstances.
