I am most grateful to Gurley's Medical Supply for getting the manual wheelchair that I wanted. I asked five other DME providers to order that manual chair from Drive Medical but none of them agreed to order it as well as file with medicaid. I worked with Cathy and Jack in Gurley's Medical Supply. They gave me the form for prior authorization for Medicaid in the very first visit. They submitted the forms to medicaid the same day they received the forms from doctor's office. I received the call to pick up the chair within two weeks or so. First off the staff is so friendly! I have been renting a wheelchair for two weeks now and let me just say they have wonderful prices. I have a health condition and it's been really hard for me to go in certain stores with my kids because they don't have wheelchairs or electric chairs. The past two weeks I been living my best life since I been renting this wheelchair and my kids been loving it too. I get to go in the stores with my kids and not just limited to Walmart and Target. Thank you so much for this!

Good service and a knowledgable staff. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful when I explained I was looking for something to help my sister pick items off the floor as she was not allowed to bend over for a week following surgery. He explained The Picksy was made in Chapel Hill NC and proceeded to demonstrate how easily it picked items up, had a telescoping handle and stayed sticky after rinsing with water. It was cute and did not look like an elderly device. It works beautifully

This is an absolutely great medical supply store. My mom was hospitalized due to open heart surgery and it was a long and uncertain process in getting her back home. And Gurley's was always ready to help. They secured a hospital bed for me and all the needed supplies, yet I had to cancel the order at the last minute as my mom was transferred to a rehab facility instead of coming home, and with full honor, kindness, and understanding they cancelled the order and refunded me fully. Then 3 weeks later I went into the store on the eve of my mom's actual return home and they had the exact items I needed

We purchased a power lift chair from Gurley's for my father. We didn't know much about this product, so we went to the showroom and spoke with Cathy. She was very friendly and helpful. From the time we spent in the showroom, through the purchase and delivery, we couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of Gurley's staff. Actually, once the chair was delivered, we noticed it had a small but definite defect, which affected the comfort. One call to Cathy at Gurley's, they quickly someone to inspect, and a new replacement chair was ordered and delivered within just a few days -- and

Had a great experience shopping for a lift chair for my mom. Kathy was knowledgeable, patient, and helped me work through their options. Having shopped first at other area stores, it was a pleasure to shop in a clean, pleasant smelling, modern store with good natural light. I was shopping with my father (89 year old) for a lift chair. I was amazed at the selection they offered as well as the excellent customer service provided. We selected a Pride 0 gravity chair on Thursday and it was delivered on Friday. The price was excellent as well as the warranty.
I went back today to purchase a waterproof pad for my mom's chair and found clothes protectors (adult bibs) for less than half the price that I had been paying at another Medical Supply place here in Durham.
Their inventory is quite extensive and prices are remarkably low.....Give them a try - you will not be sorry

A Very nice lady greeted my wife and I and helped us immediately. There are many good quality products here, but I thought they could have had more of a selection and I felt that they were a little expensive. But you can not get many of theses items from a drug store. It was worth the drive and I am recommending them to a friend.
