Shawna crafted her business into a diverse practice that offers a variety of artistic services that appeal too many. Now located at the end of Main Street in Historic Downtown Oregon City, Shawna is still striving to provide a unique, friendly, and clean environment to provide everyone with the best experience possible.
Here at Angel Ink we accommodate permanent cosmetic clientele as well as traditional tattoo customers. However, we don't draw the line there; we also offer Henna services if you find yourself looking for something less eternal. Walk-ins welcome. Angel Ink is proud to own one of the few mobile tattoo units in the state. We have tattooed at several events throughout the years including the Oregon State Fair since 2007. Available for booking and travel if you are in need of tattoo services for an event. Unit accommodates three artists at a time.

Had a simple tattoo done on July 2 2020. It was just lettering, nothing fancy or intricate. This was my very first tattoo as well, making the experience all the more frightening. The tattoo “artists” main screw up was the inconsistency in needle depth causing permanent scarring. My tattoo was intended to have sharp cornered, boxed letter words which turned out to be uneven and appeared to have rounded edges. Due to the fact of his wrong tattooing procedures, my tattoo has experienced color loss/ fading. While it is somewhat minor, it has still taken away from the art as a whole. I believe this

I have needed tattooed eyebrows for decades. I've had several people do them as I've moved around, but NOBODY has created such perfect, beautiful eyebrows for me than Shawna! I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone who might be worried about how to get such an important feature on your face right - she just seems to have a natural feel for the proper arc, thinckness and balance - this is amazing to me after all these years!
And I would've paid top scary dollar for this, but bless her, her rate is the lowest I can ever remember, she's not interested in gouging people

I called today and spoke to Shawna the owner of this establishment, she was pretty busy today but she made time for my daughter and I to come in and get tattoos. She did a fantastic job and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, safe and welcome. I would highly recommend this establishment if you're in the market for a tattoo or piercing.

Shawna is amazing! I had semi permanent eyeliner done. She explained the process completely before starting and set me at ease. I'm not going to lie, it hurt but not as much as you'd think and not as much as a regular tattoo. She was personable and fun to talk with. I highly recommend her and her makeup procedures.

Shawna Holder was great. An eye for color and placement and a great energy made for a stress free experience, a very trustworthy artist. Although I would never recommend rushing your tattoo artist I was on a time frame and she was able to complete a very clean tattoo very efficiently; something in excited to build on. I even made it to dinner on time!

My sweet little Dala horse was transformed into some kind of collie. Went in for the $40 (plus tip) tattoo day for a deal, but am now looking into the cost of tattoo removal. The tattoo artist, John, didn't look at the picture I showed him and seemed to play connect the dots rather than take my touch up seriously. Super bummed.

Great artist but the inside is a little sketchy. There are 8 bays and one bathroom. Kind of reminds me of a public restroom yellow on a bad plaster job with a teal trim, not to mention the butterflies and fairy stuff hanging from the ceiling. The artist and work is great if you can get passed the decor and paint. This place would be happening if they cleaned it up and modernized it. Better than a basement but barely.

This has been a looooong time ago but the year of 2013 I got my eye brows tattooed on there by the owner and a flower tattoo with dragonflies on my left leg and they borh were awesome .
I can't remember the owner's name but she was really nice !
She made me feel welcomed the only reason I'm reviewing this is I'm thinking about getting my daughter's ears pierced and going back there !!!

Awful experience. They had a promotion running that if you paid $100 or more they would match it in credit. so I gave my $100 and tried multiple attempts to schedule a session after canceling 3 or more times the tattoo artist, Thomas told me to "not freak out about it because it was only a $100". The money isn't the problem to tell someone who paid you to do a job that it's no big deal you are stealing any amount of money from them is completely outrageous!!

Violet at Angel Ink is the best. I reviewed the other artists' work, and decided on Violet for her lovely line work. I went in for my very first tattoo today, shortly after turning 60 (my birthday present to me!). She was very gentle, explained the whole process to me and was very concerned for my comfort level. She also made sure to tell me of the after care needs of my tatt, and told me she had a 90 day "fix-it" policy. A really, really nice person, and if I ever get another tattoo, I'll be getting it from her. I wish I could post a pic of my tattoo!

Tattooing has been practiced across the globe since Neolithic times and practiced in the US since the Civil War. This type of body art has been around forever and you're probably thinking, I need to get that Maori tattoo I have always wanted and I need a great local place. Okay I'm joking about the Maori tattoo, but this is a serious review because there are some questions we all ask ourselves before we take the leap and choose an artist.

Tattoo. SUPER CLEAN PLACE and I didn't have to drive to Portland! What a nice find... in Oregon City went in and got the tattoo. They were very nice and not intimidating like another shop near there... f'ers. The tattoo looks great, healed fast and now I'm ready to show it off for the summer. Angel Ink was a little hard to find but I got it from a recommendation from my friend, Carrie, who got a tattoo there thanks C. One guy at Angel Ink had purple hair.... very cool! Thanks, Angel Ink!
